“Wait my businesses are doing well? JK on the going public thing!”

That should give potential investors confidence!

Lol if you aren't doing well in the current IPO/SPAC market, you should probably stop investing.

Debt is being inflated away. Great news for people like TF.

Any dreams of TF going bankrupt and losing the franchise are long gone unless there is a global depression. Rockets will belong to the Fertitta family for a very very long time.

I understand it's a joke, but I don't really see the problem here as far as their family is concerned. Is there a single owner in the entirety of the sports world that isn't planning on passing the teams they own onto their children and grandchildren (assuming they have a good relationship)?? If your father owned a team, and you were involved in the operations of the team, wouldn't you expect to get ownership of the team upon your father's passing?? It's not nepotism if the kid works hard, and actually earns his chops as an owner and a leader.

Now that's not to say it's guaranteed to be a success, or that the child can run the team better than his/her father. I mean, just look at the disaster taking place on Kirby right now for an example of that. But from a legacy planning standpoint, wealthy people don't continue to stay wealthy by passing on their assets to outsiders.

I’ve been to Saltgrass once a very long time ago…I remember it being decent…not some place I’d ever go out of my way to go to, but it wasn’t middle school lunch quality
