I think the police abuse, brutality, and lack of accountability and the issue of Racism are separate but related. Police abuse happens because I know more than a few people that have been on the receiving end of it and I know plenty of cops that readily admit it. I also know Racism happens. Do I think police are inherently racist? No, I do not. I just think there are shitty cops, and a few of them happen to be racist also. Unfortunately, when you have a shitty cop who happens to be racists, there is very little that most police departments do about it because of "the police code". I think reality is somewhere in the middle of your beliefs and what the black community is complaining about. I know minorities( black and hispanic) that have been pulled over with guns drawn because they were driving the wrong type of car playing the wrong type of music. One happened to be a police officer himself. I also think police brutality and abuse is an issue that effects everyone including minorities. That opinion is from personal experience and from anecdotal stories from the same police officer who was related to me through marriage. Granted I live near Williamson County where the Sheriff's department is considered the most racist, abusive, and corrupt departments in Texas, so the incidents are more prevalent. I do agree that if you are up to no good, you are belligerent, and you run away, the chances of something bad happening to you are pretty high. The problem with the media and the "extreme left" is that they lump these two issues together just like the lump being black and being poor. If they would start addressing these issues separately, they would get more done and wouldn't alienate poor white people who get also get abused by the police. You can help the black community by addressing the issues that effect a lot more than black people.
There are plenty of cops that don't hate all black people. Some of those same cops are more willing to jump to the conclusion that a black person is a greater threat than a white person. That rush to judgment can make them act differently in their treatment of black suspects. We need to get away from looking at racism as solely the idea of someone hating all people of a race. That certainly is the most extreme aspect of it. But it is when treatment isn't equitable based on race. That is problem that rightfully upsets so many folks. That is something that first needs to be recognized and clarified and then starting the very long and involved process of trying to educate and correct it.
Luckily this officer was arrested. What I was saying is that if an altercation occurs during a traffic it's probably because an arrest is happening due to the driver having a warrior something found in the car. Apparently this victim this was being arrested but that isn't clear from any of the reports on incident but this definitely was a bad cop with I don't mean to come as to say there are.no bad cops. I will say that there does seem to be an issue with the the entire Louisiana State Police force
what about the ones who are robbing the sneaker shops owned by minorities? I don't think they care, it's about getting theirs. which is bad, but it's good that they don't discriminate https://www.kron4.com/news/bay-area...-clara-burglarized-for-second-time-in-1-week/ Sneaker store in Santa Clara burglarized twice in a week
I have no idea what was in their heads or hearts. You'll have to ask them. This is one incident and I don't know if there is a pattern or not a pattern. It's just too many variables.
lol dude criminals don't discriminate on race if you are race A and i'm race B and the thief is race A you are wearing a ROLEX and i'm wearing a TIMEX who do you think he robs bruh ? @pgabriel @Os Trigonum @Reeko
but you didn't answer my question if you are race A and the criminal is race A and I'm race B but I'm wearing flip flops I got from Marshalls and you are wearing Jordan X Dior special edition sneakers who gets robbed? @Os Trigonum
Because your question doesn't have enough information to answer. Just like this one. It depends on who is in a public place, has others with them, etc. Your questions don't have enough context to provide any meaningful answers.
you answer my questions with questions so i'll answer your questions with more questions If thief A is your crack buddy from college and you got crack and I don't have crack who's he going to rob? @Os Trigonum
That's debatable. IMO If they are not "snitching" or "breaking the blue wall" . . .they are every bit the criminal corrupt cops their fellow officers are. Isn't that what they say about gang members and their families that don't rat them out? Are they not "just as bad as the bad cops The corruption is not the cops taking the bribe. . . .its the cops/prosecutors/judges/etc who give special treatment and silence to the cops taking bribes, killing people, using their authority unethically Cops losing morale because people no longer believe they have honor or integrity because we have had a whole host of instances where they have shown to lack honor or integrity . . .. well suck it up and rat out those evil b*st*rds in your mist. .. . . . As a black people I have been told . .. I should not be upset at cops for thinking black people are criminals. . .because "alot of black people are criminals" Well .. . Now that the shoe is on the other foot I'm suppose to give a rat's ass about THEIR MORALE when they didn't give a **** about mine???? They should treat the public with respect. They should be held to an even higher level of accountability because they have a higher level of authority The greatest realist fiction in the world is in U.S. Police department crime reports. Your reports mean nothing Selective Enforcement of the law . . .therefore manipulation of the numbers is common place Exhibit A - The prosecutor tamper and did not want to charge the murdererss of Ahmaud Arbery Had she had her way . . . . they would show up in none of those statistics The only unusual thing about her or what she did . .. . was that she got caught QUESTION: IS it their moral low because people think that are corrupt immoral thugs. . . or that they are racist? Are they ok with being known as corrupt immoral thugs. . . just don't call them racist????? Rocket River It happens everyday Your statistics mean nothing
It's by design -It's a feature not a flaw There is a documented history of white supremacist infiltrating law enforcement https://theintercept.com/2020/09/29/police-white-supremacist-infiltration-fbi/ https://www.justsecurity.org/70507/...ct-checking-national-security-advisor-obrien/ Rocket River
Just like you question LEO's opinions in an attempt to be seen as a "good negro" who ain't "woke" White people out number black people like 5 to 1 .. . yet that ratio is only 2 to 1 . . . but you don't see it as disproportionate? Rocket River I still think you are a bot
