People move because their jobs tied to their companies move

Samsung just announced that 17 billion dollar plant in Taylor

it’s not like they are being announced in some cold ass place like Boston

Having just had to dredge through Waco this past weekend I will confess that place absolutely blows. I swear they’ve been working on 35 since I was a kid and just never finish it just to F with travelers. The fact that the two most famous things about it are a cult and Chip and Johanna tells you all you need to know. Place sucks.

I do love most of Texas though. I just can’t stand the awful uneventful long ass drives with no good food options in between. You see a Subway and you feel like you just discovered Bordains secret dive or something.

Lots of people have moved to Nashville from California
    https://www.wkrn.com/news/more-california-headquarters-choosing-to-move-to-tennessee/
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – New research shows the Volunteer State is the second most popular destination for companies fleeing California, just behind Texas.

Kaiser Aluminum, Oracle, and Mitsubishi, some of the most recent and most popular additions, are soon-to-be additions to our state.

and yes Chinese trolls please don’t try to tell us about cities and states you’ve never seen in your lives

go to Boston or something and eat chowder

What is there to do in Nashville?

wouldn’t want to be in NC driving by Confederate statues every day either

It’s got a great downtown and the Vanderbilt area is good too.
You shouldn’t stereotype places in the south because people who’ve never been to Houston have a completely messed up take on it.

I'm a life long Texan who finally got the hell out. Went back this past week to see the stones in Ausitn and visit family over thanksgiving. Everything just confirmed I made the right choice to leave and I don't care if I ever go back.

The mountains of New Mexico. Loving life at 8K feet. Nice living without having to run the an air conditioner all summer... and my medical card keeps the aches and pains away.

I have 2 college aged kids still on the dole. New Mexico is much cheaper than Colorado and Colorado is now a much shorter trip than it was when I was living in TX.

    This is a terrible take.

Nashville has a lot going on and NC does not have Confederate statues all over the place.

    Like any other metropolitan city.

It's more like Austin than Lubbock.

Nashville isn't my favorite city but it has a lot going on, has good food, good music and a lot of attractions... it also is unique. It isn't like a lot of other cookie cutter towns.... It's not my favorite place because there is still a lot of poverty and crime in areas not that far away. Tennessee is a growing place though for sure.

Someone referred to Nashville as the 'best place in the usa'
I haven't been but that comment struck me as odd. Maybe it is...

    You should go walking
