A step below. Bosa brothers, Young, and Garrett would all be drafted higher than Thibodeaux and Hutchinson. I can't say I disagree, but maybe that's easy to say right now with their current NFL production.

Those 4 happen to be the best 4 young-younger DE in the league too lol.
I think Kayvon and Hutchinson both test extremely well personally

Young has the physical tools, and I know he's had some injury issues, but I hear a whole lotta talk and a whole lotta limited production.

Yeah I can see that, I’ve seen some wow plays from him too. Just not consistent.
The older Bosa is a beast, the younger one when healthy is too. We all know Myles is a stud.
We will see what Kayvon and Aidan test and how they do, hard for me not to think they will be close to those guys if they test how it’s being reported.
Mid 4.6 for Aidan and mid 4.5 for Kayvon? That’s pretty damn good

That's cool but do you actually value 40 times for pass rushers? Clowney was 4.4? I mean great. I look at it as more of a question mark if the time is horrendous, but I don't get to pumped about fast 40 times

True, but the 3 cone, shuttle, and 10 yd splits are elite as well. Pretty usual when you have fast 40s, most of the time.
Regardless, both players have put on shows and the athletic testing should show why. Isn’t that what/why they do the testing?

I wouldn’t call the 2022 NFL Draft a bad draft.

There are plenty of first-round-caliber players, and the depth at certain positions will stretch well into Day 3 on draft weekend. However, something that has been echoed by evaluators around the NFL is the lack of elite-level talent at the top. Most drafts don’t have 10 prospects considered no-brainers for the top-10 picks, but this year’s class doesn’t have more than one or two, according to feedback from some NFL scouts.

(Notes: The draft order is based on current standings. An asterisk represents draft-eligible underclassmen who haven’t officially declared for the draft.)

    1. Detroit Lions — Aidan Hutchinson, edge, Michigan
    2. Houston Texans — Kayvon Thibodeaux, edge, Oregon*

Although he isn’t in the same prospect tier as Myles Garrett, Chase Young or the Bosa brothers, Thibodeaux is a disruptive pass rusher due to his upfield burst and quick feet. He is a strong run defender and should continue to improve as a pass rusher as his rush moves evolve. Thibodeaux reminds me of a stronger, longer version of Harold Landry. The Texans will also be in the quarterback market this off-season, but hard to see them drafting one this early.

    3. Jacksonville Jaguars — Evan Neal, OT, Alabama*
    4. New York Jets (from Seattle) — Derek Stingley Jr., CB, LSU*
    5. New York Jets — Ikem Ekwonu, OT, NC State*
    6. New York Giants — Devin Lloyd, LB, Utah
    7. New York Giants (from Chicago) — Tyler Linderbaum, OC, Iowa*
    8. Philadelphia Eagles — Kyle Hamilton, DS, Notre Dame*
    9. Philadelphia Eagles (from Miami) — George Karlaftis, edge, Purdue*
    10. Carolina Panthers — Kenny Pickett, QB, Pittsburgh
    11. Atlanta Falcons — Travon Walker, edge, Georgia*
    12. Minnesota Vikings — Andrew Booth Jr., CB, Clemson*
    13. New Orleans Saints — Garrett Wilson, WR, Ohio State*
    14. Philadelphia (from Indianapolis) — Nakobe Dean, LB, Georgia*
    15. Cleveland Browns — David Ojabo, edge, Michigan*
    16. Pittsburgh Steelers — Sam Howell, QB, North Carolina*
    17. Denver Broncos — Jordan Davis, NT, Georgia
    18. Las Vegas Raiders — Trevor Penning, OT, Northern Iowa
    19. Washington Football Team – Matt Corral, QB, Ole Miss*
    20. Los Angeles Chargers — Kaiir Elam, CB, Florida*
    21. Miami Dolphins (from San Francisco) — Charles Cross, OT, Mississippi State*
    22. Buffalo Bills — Kenyon Green, OT/G, Texas A&M*
    23. Detroit Lions (from Los Angeles) — Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas*
    24. Cincinnati Bengals — Ahmad Gardner, CB, Cincinnati*
    25. Dallas Cowboys — Cameron Thomas, edge, San Diego State*
    26. Kansas City Chiefs — Drake London, WR, USC*
    27. Tennessee Titans — Jameson Williams, WR, Alabama*
    28. Tampa Bay Buccaneers — DeMarvin Leal, DL, Texas A&M*
    29. New England Patriots — Chris Olave, WR, Ohio State
    30. Green Bay Packers — Darian Kinnard, OT/G, Kentucky
    31. Baltimore Ravens — Daniel Faalele, OT, Minnesota
    32. Arizona Cardinals — Roger McCreary, CB, Auburn

Day 2 selections for teams that currently do not own a first-round pick:

    Second Round
Seattle Seahawks — Nicholas Petit-Frere, OT, Ohio State*
Chicago Bears — David Bell, WR, Purdue*
Indianapolis Colts — Bernhard Raimann, OT, Central Michigan
San Francisco 49ers — Logan Hall, DL, Houston

    Third round
Los Angeles Rams — Jamaree Salyer, OT/G, Georgia

Kyle Hamilton could be the highest picked safety since Sean Taylor. Doubt Justin Reid re-signs, and Eric Murray is the only other safety under contract next year. Draft nerds also calling Linderbaum a no-brainer slam dunk (as if those exist).

If Texans end up outside the top 2, would you guys be cool picking a position that's not "valuable"? Do you think safeties and centers are more valuable now than they used to be?

I’m cool with that. Give me the can’t miss likely HOF safety or Center over a DE who has all tools and if he adds some pass rush moves and puts it together will be awesome.

This. With the way our defensive line has been playing and while they ain’t exactly setting the league on fire our D-line is young and improving.

We need a shut down corner in the worst way or a top notch QB on defense safety.

And our offensive line is HORRIBLE!

    So yes give me either

    Stingley Jr
    Hamilton
    Neal
    Linderbaum

    Over Hutchinson or Kayvon

Unless you can promise me another CB like sauce Gardner to pair with them..if not them pass on both of them for my list above.

    Love Linderbaum

Also would like to bring Kenyon Green home if there's a trade down.

Looking at this mock draft, a trade down with the Dolphins for the SF 1st and their 2nd plus 2023 1sts and 2nds would be the way to go.

    21. Green
    32. Kendrick
    41. Jermaine Johnson
    Rd.3
    66. Stromberg
    78. Brisker
    109. Charbonnet

Texans will play him at RT then wonder why the line can't run block as a unit.

The Texans need to trade their #1 pick for multiple future #1's..... the only positions they really should invest a top 5 pick in is on the offensive line if there is a real HOF type guy or QB..... you can build the rest outside the top 5 picks.
