    We have the personnel to run a GSW type system. Silas has instilled some bad habits in these players and he is not the coach to take you to the next level. Walton can finish out the season here and we can still get a top five pick. Holmgren ain't the guy and getting Giddey would have been just as good as getting Green, imo. The difference between 2 and 5 is not a huge one. Smith, Banchero and Holmgren are all good gets in the top 3 picks with different upsides for each.

    You're deadset on Walton being the answer? Because we can also finish out the season with Silas and get a top 5 pick. Then, in the offseason, fire Silas and then actually spend time evaluating and interviewing coaches.

    If you hire Walton now, you have to stick with him at least through next season. it'd be a bad look if he was fired this offseason if he's not the answer.

    im for firing silas and no other head coach. let this team figure things out by themselves on the court. seems that way for the majority of the season anyway. it's like an intramural team

    I'm going to say this and every sane basketball fan knows this...................................Walton is rubbish as a coach

    He got hired only because he had an easy run as interim coach at the Warriors where a chipmunk could have coached that team to the same record

    Lol really? Because to run a GSW system you need Steph Curry. Walton is a god awful coach. How many Walton coached games have you watched? I have watched 100+, you really think after hiring an unproven guy and it being a complete disaster that the Rockets are going hire another unproven guy?
