    DJ Augustine.

But they’ll probably call up Christopher too.

They don’t really need to call up anyone. Gordan, House, and Matthews will get his minutes and don’t worry your little head, Theis will be back getting as many minutes as Sengun before long (it’s a “matchup thing” you know).

How is he holding the Rockets hostage? The Rockets can't trade him and don't want him to play, so they could offer to buy him out. The Rockets are the ones who took on his contract willingly. It seems like they don't want to buy him out because they are hoping he will want to play and use that as leverage in any negotiation.

“While John Wall may be getting a little frustrated with his situation in Houston, the veteran point guard consented to the possibility of the Rockets holding him out for the entire season. According to Marc Stein, Wall signed off on the plan after being told he’d have a limited role in Houston’s backcourt if he were active, since the club is focused on developing young guards Kevin Porter Jr. and Jalen Green.”

If he would opt out of next year, the Rockets could trade him or buy him out this year. If Wall is unhappy, he can solve that problem right now. No player is guaranteed playing time. The Rockets agreed to pay his contract and they are doing so. If Wall wants to play basketball, he can opt out. If he wants to collect his money, he can sit tight and STFU.

Why on earth would anyone opt out of 40+ million dollars?

    Would you?

No. But you can’t collect that money and complain. If he wants to play basketball, he can play basketball. If he wants to collect $40+ million, he can do that. Unfortunately, he can’t do both. But the decision is entirely up to him. And that’s the arrangement both sides agreed to.

I'd still rather be paying Wall to not play than to have Westbrook here playing.

I don't care if his legs fall off. Play him. Play that many his money.

Does it state in his contract he can't complain about not playing?

I just don't understand what people get upset about when we all would do the exact same thing. We'd all collect the money, and yet we'd all want to play or get traded.

Not saying he's a righteous man, but c'mon, the dude isn't doing anything crazy out of the normal here, in fact, if anything, he's been a consummate professional. I am surprised it lasted so long.

Sometimes I wonder if we kept CP3 and traded Harden, what would history look like.

Chris Paul's old deal looks unexpectedly good.

His new deal...check back in 2025.

It is bullshit though that he basically played 90 games for Phx last year and maybe played ~125 across 2 seasons in Houston (and missed the 2 most important ones)

I also wonder what would history look like if Lebron signed in Houston instead of L.A.

John Wall wants to spoil the winning streak the Rockets are on.

The Bench has better talent than the Starters.

Especially if Jalen Green is demoted to the bench.

The Bench look like a better Unselfish Group Compared to the Starters.

    PG DJ Augustin, Eric Gordon
    SG Jalen Green
    SF Armoni Brooks
    PF KJ Martin Jr
    C Alperen Sengun

Ugh, Selfish, Brick Fest, Matthews is the exemption, Hopefully get trade Value and trade these players, except Matthews.

Jaesean Tate, Christian Wood, Eric Gordon have High Value for now. KPJ maybe.

    PG John Wall
    SG Kevin Porter Jr
    SF Garrison Matthews
    PF Jaesean Tate
    C Christian Wood

    Daniel Theis
    Danuel House
