Let Wall and Garuba play. It doesn't make sense to pay Wall $92 million and all he does is sit. Let Wall and Garuba play.
I’ll just assume that you didn’t watch any games last season. I don’t blame you. But anyone who watched last year, would never suggest bringing wall into this team.
Garuba is having all he can handle in the G league and Wall is retired, just collecting checks as the next Gilbert Arenas.
Don't get carried away. He was quoted in the press conference that it was a match up situation. He is dying to go back to his veterans.
Was theis injured or did Silas grow some balls? Silas is getting all this congratulations on here for not playing theis???? Why ??? If theis is injured then Silas didn't do a damn thing innovative. I bet when theis comes back the offense and rotations go-to crap again Let's see if house and Silas can keep this fairytale going . I don't count the hornets coming up they are garbage. Play some real teams and then judge BTW: never seen lavine play till tonight.. he's more girly than green and it's not even close. He will never take the bulls anywhere .to soft
We all want Sengun to play. We all need to be patient. Remember JVG and Yao. We can blame China all we want for Yao's injuries but JVG's rigorous practices and heavy minutes on the big man didn't help either. Let Sengun get physically adapted and strengthen his legs first. We're going for longevity.
Numbers don't lie. Houston Rockets are far better team without Daniel Theis. It has nothing to do with whether Daniel Theis is a good or bad player. He may be a really solid player for another team but the truth is, he definitely doesn't fit in this team and he shouldn't be here.
Jalen Green's injury helped, too... Theis and Green are the two most harmful players on this team, but unfortunately none of the others are that much better. If Green's injury takes him out for longer and Theis stays on the bench we may win a few more games, but doubtful we'll be a "good team". Tate cannot shoot, Wood has become meh, KPJ is still mostly flashes of brilliances without consistent precision. Turnovers, poor 3 pt%, poor FT%: these are issues that are not really Theis/Green-related.
Senguns worlds better than these 2...and you are also not taking into consideration compounds effect of both positive and negative on being a 'good or bad ' team...do better next time, otherwise a solid post
well i am told the best coach in the world would make this team play as bad as silas because the roster is poor.... he really has fooled them with his smile.....
Theis and Wood can’t play together. Period. Their games are not complimentary, it’s been obvious from the start. Playing Wood out of position to accommodate Theis was a calculated error, a failed experiment, but it was worth a shot. The problem is we have too many guys on this roster who play the same position, so someone is always being forced to play out of position. That’s on Stone as much as it is Silas. That’s probably the most important thing the Rockets need to figure out and fix going forward.
Soooo one might say the Daniel Theis experiment is over? I guess Stone and Silas thought Wood could play with another big because he was able to have success with Olynyk, but KO was not a typical big guy. He had the game of a small forward. Super skilled and understood the game much like Sengun and was a real threat from the perimeter to make a shot, dribble to attack a close out, and make good passes. Theis was a huge downgrade. His defense is not good enough to warrant his minutes. Especially when you consider Garuba may be a better defender right now at 19 years old and is down in the G-League.
