Yeah. You have to be set in a legal guarding position before the offensive player leaves the ground. Close, but I don’t think he was.
Not just that, look at how he runs to get there and jumps into the offensive player, that’s not what the rules were meant for but referees have rewarded defenders for it for too long now. I’d say if a player reads a play then sliding to get there is one thing, but to actually run in a last second attempt to try and stop a player by jumping as if taking a charge is dangerous.
