This sums up how I feel about the issue.

Credit where credit is due, I thought Silas did everything right today. I thought he would go to Theis for backup 5 but instead he’s out of the rotation. Even though Sengun only got 16 minutes, which has been my biggest criticism of Silas, if it’s because Wood is getting 32 minutes in a 1 big lineup then there’s nothing you can do about that. That’s up to the gm’s job to trade Wood eventually if Sengun becomes too good. I would like to see some experimentation with Wood/Sengun lineup, but the win was in reach and they pulled that after it allowed an easy bucket, understandable.

Besides that, cudos for sticking with House even though fans hated him, could not have won without him.

Kpj, Green, Wood all looked the best they have all season in this single big lineup with Gordon at sf. Then again it speaks volumes why it took so long to get to this point, it really took losing 15 straight games to figure it out? It’s not like we are sacrificing someone essential, it’s Theis, there shouldn’t have been any politics involved. But alas at least we got here and he is benching Theis in favor of Sengun which is the correct move. No matter if we won or lost, it looked much more in sync from tip off.

I don't buy this crap at all .... I don't think they care one bit about Silas record right now.

This is just some writer making the next logical connection because the Rockets are that bad .... its low hanging fruit.


Its like Jay Glazer writing 9 articles saying Deshaun Watson would be traded by X ..... knowing damn well it wasn't happening.
The only thing that put an end to him writing articles about when Watson would be traded was the trade deadline passing ....


I don't at all believe Silas is on the hot seat , we knew this team would be bad and we knew Green would get a ton of minutes even while missing 72.6% of his shots .... Just so happens on a night when Green can't piss away possessions with bricks , they find a way to beat a really solid team.

Wood is a hopeless case I think, he is already 26 and immature.
