All he has to do is play the rookies and tank, but somehow he can't even do that right. Get him out of here. Sengun should coach, then maybe he'd actually play and touch the ball. There shouldn't be a play in the game that he doesn't touch the ball if he's in.

It would be different if the rookies and second year guys were getting more playing time to actually develop, build more chemistry, and gain confidence together.

But too many veterans are taking their minutes.

Just one change in the starting 5 would have his job safe for the year and next.

Recipe to becoming a bottom cellar team like the kings and old Knicks

    1. Big ego hands on owner check ✔
    2. Whiffin in draft (Debatable)
    3. Firing coaches mid-season and starting a carousel of coaches (in progress)

Literally all he's asked to do. Im not sure how you **** up just playing young guys over vets. He's either doing it on purpose to get fired or he's an idiot.

The title of that makes it sound like Luke Walton.

I disagree. Hiring the wrong coaches and letting go of stars just as they are getting good is how you become those teams. You also put an emphasis on the wrong things instead of developing players and you have random vets that you dont need in there. Also the the draft is s big part of it but getting a good player in the draft means nothing if yoru coach doesnt know how to use that pick.

I'm not judging Silas as a coach. I am pointing out some of the common traits that sht tier team share.

Since he went to Brown, my guess is it’s the latter.

He sees the way the rookies practice and knows they will get destroyed in a game. Or, the young guys have bad attitudes and he doesn’t want to reward it by giving them playing time.

I am not sure who the Rockets would choose to takeover when they fire Silas, but my guess is it will be someone worse UNLESS, TF convinces Kelvin Sampson to take the job. Sampson has always wanted to be an NBA head coach, and this may be his best opportunity. He has a good relationship with TF through UH. It makes so much sense that it probably won’t happen.

I don’t want any Van Gundy’s, Steve Clifford’s, or Euro League coaches near this team. We will never get any free agents and the rookies we do have will demand a trade.

I agree with most things you said but the letting go of coaches is not how you become knicks and sac. If your coach is trash he's trash letting go of them is not a bad decision even successful teams do it to get better.

No no no this is bad news

Other Reports say it will be John Lucas who takes over

He is actually worse than Silas

Grass is greener on the other side

    No no no

Guess what, Lucas worked with house last year off the court.. I'm guessing drugs. House is his boy along with kpj

Firing Silas and putting in Lucas will cause kp to remain starter at pg and house more minutes maybe even starting

This franchise is such a joke they can't even replace Silas correctly
