agree with that. I think all around we just got the worst coaches, Marshall’s sale rack. Imagine even Alvin Gentry on the bench, makes a huge difference. Silas got thrown to the wolves and he really isn’t ready.
It’s really tough figuring out who’s going to be the next hot shot in the league. I’m just really surprised Mark Jackson didn’t get any calls. I wonder what Kenny Smith brings? Atkinson seems like he’s getting the next big gig.
If winning 12-15 games is enough, I do not think will be a tall order, but the player personnel has to be way better, not sure how they can get production going, that will be key.
Jackson isn’t getting calls because he’s horrid and caused a ton of issues. What houston should do is if they think silas sucks, fire him, hire someone else that’s a first timer, and keep doing that till you hit. No different then draft picks (except this only costs money)
what issues did he cause? Felt like he had that monta team set up right. Maybe I don’t know? ya that route is money route and I don’t think this rockets franchise likes to fire coaches like kings do daily. They like big names.
Weren’t there issues with spies and other nonsense with jackson? Regardless, you know he’s bad so there’s no point. Go for someone who might (but probably won’t) be good

Just like the fire BOB thread, I'm here to lend my early support for the firing of Silas. With time, I'm sure most people will come to my way of thinking, just like they did for BOB.
If we lose all of next few games Hornets Thunder Thunder Magic Pelicans I can see the pressure turned on. Debatable whether if a hc firing will solve the problem, but this kind of losing would get any owners nervous. If the young guys are exempt, then Stone needs to look at getting better vets to carry the team. A team that can't win more than one game, is not a NBA roster. Can't use the rebuild excuse anymore. In the history of the NBA, lot of teams to through rebuilds, very rare few have this type record. If this is a rebuild, then we're building with the wrong materials.
I think they need to hire someone who is good with young players. They don’t necessarily have to be the “next big thing”, just get the most out of 19 year olds. These guys don’t need to learn chemistry, they need to learn basketball.

A 5 Out - let’s play fast and free offense works for a team led by harden or a shooting squad filled with veterans like the warriors… but not a team with no PG and a bunch of young players. Common sense - I wanted to tank this year but this has been worse than I thought. If we aren’t competitive in games give the 19 year olds more minutes for gods sake. Call plays - I saw it last year too but I am convinced Silas doesn’t have an actual offense
