I find all of this very weird. Rittenhouse isn't a murderer.... he was attacked and hit with a skateboard multiple times, a man pulled a gun and aimed it at him and threatened to kill him.... the verdict was the proper verdict and the jury did what was obvious once all the evidence came out. Having said that.... the commercialization of all of this, and going on a known sensationalist like Tucker Carlson makes me very uncomfortable.... there is something off with Rittenhouse, it isn't normal behavior to smash girls in the head, be obsessed with authority figures and at 17 be armed and seek out trouble like he did going to Kenosha. Whatever.... everything about this case sucks other than the verdict, and I mean everything........ the dead man was a child toucher, all of those people were out there in a situation where arson was happening.... the police were largely incompetent, Rittenhouse is an idiot.... the media trolled to make money off it.... the Judge was largely a mediocre ******* and the quality of lawyering was bordering on incompetent...... it was a real life Jerry Springer show of all the ugly parts of America..... and now the extreme left gets to ignore the facts and claim some form of racism..... and the extreme right takes a dimwitted loser and crown him king........ and the same media makes money off it.
didn’t watch or follow the trial much at all i remember thinking either the prosecutor got something we don’t know or they rushed Whatever it was, it just wasn’t that interesting but yick at how much attention this is getting or seem to be getting
You forgot to add one last thing in your excellent post. All of this could be avoided and no lives would have been lost, 50 millions in damages to the city and millions of our taxpayers’ money wasted on the trial, if the mayor and most of all the butthole governor had sent in law enforcement and accepted help from Washington to crush the rioters.
I have a left wing friend who argued with me that demonstrators should carry concealed handguns when going to demonstrations. One important aspect is that gut nuttiness is the subtext of how this misguided child got into a situation like this to begin with.
I just bought a home in Montevideo Uruguay this year. I love America with all of my heart and soul, but there is a lot of poison in our country right now. Friends that I grew up with and even family members stopped talking to me because of their hatred for Trump and anyone who has a conservative thought is an automatic brainwashed Trumper and watches FoxNews. Uruguay is beautiful, nice, stable, the people are chilled and one the best countries in Latin America. Now that I have a home there, I would not mind spending extended times there just to get away from all this madness temporarily.
