I didn't feel that Halloween feels strong. But yeah Christmas has completely trampled thanksgiving, I'm seeing whole neighborhoods put up lights and trees since last week, I noticed that the commercials are switching to Christmas themed etc Thanksgivin feels super ded
My mom just texted me to ask if I'll take her to HEB in the pickup because she saw a tree she really liked while buying groceries this morning. Grrrrr. Humbug.
When I went into Lowes to pick something up, half of the displays were Halloween and half of it was Christmas already. The incursion has only just begun.
Yeah... actually already got our tree too because my dad was in town and wanted to pick one out with us. I didn't want to do it because I think it'll be ded by Christmas day but whatever family experience. Hard to compete with free candy and presents Thanksgivin isn't sexy enough, people eat like it's thanksgivin pretty much whenever they want in this country. Plus you got all the vegetarians man they are taking over
the one thing i wont complain about is christmas beers in stores by early november! one of my faves has always been anchors christmas ale. check it out if youve never had before.
