D&D is a swamp of liberal sub-human non independent thinking, headline reading puppets. I drop in every once in awhile to wreck their little safe-space with facts and alternate, reasonable perspectives and it drives them nuts. Spewing facts is the equivalent of causing a frantic crawl of roaches when you spray them with Raid.
Great every protester will now start carrying a gun to protect themselves. More mass shootings incomming!!!! DD
I'll say it again and I know people with intelligence in here will back me up, You are one stupid poster DaDa.
Thanks for the correction, and apologies for the overlook. What role did the mother end up playing in the gun and/or day of the shooting?
None, except that she drove him to the police station to turn himself in. He tried to turn himself in to police in Kenosha but they told him to go home. His mother drove him to their local police station. This is the reason the Kenosha didn't arrest him when he tried to turn himself in: "A Kenosha police officer testified Friday he ignored Kyle Rittenhouse’s attempts to surrender because he believed there was still an active shooter situation and the teen didn’t behave as people typically do when they’re giving themselves up."
Thanks for that. Regardless, I asked @raining threes a clear question, he answered it, and I still think he's a troll.
Rittenhouse had to use deadly force? How do you figure that? Was it the plastic bag that was thrown at him? When was his life threatened?
Being hit in the head with a skateboard qualify as a severe threat. Having a gun pointed at you qualifies as a severe threat. The situation with Rosenbaum isn't as clear cut but given that Rosenbaum did threaten to kill Rittenhouse would lead to reasonable doubt regarding the use of force in response by Rittenhouse.
There were also shots fired elsewhere but could be construed in that situation as shots being directed at him. That's also enough reason for people to think he shot in self defense. Reading over the victims lives...some sounded like they just wanted a reason to live (or die). Reminds me of how the young, impressionable, or downtrodden are the first to be recruited by cults and paramilitary groups. I hope the victims families get some peace but I can't really sympathize with how they all got there. Maybe I haven't read too much but it seemed like Rosenbaum was the powderkeg that dragged many others down that night. It just took "the wrong place" for it all to happen.
I don't agree that any of that means you need to use deadly force. So now if somebody threatens to kill me I can just pop of shots and anybody elelse around is fair game? A threat does not equal reasonable doubt to shoot somebody. I was talking about an actual threat not words.
And this is why I think the Kenosha PD was horrendously irresponsible. If they had told him to go home at the beginning of the night all of this could've been avoided.
You don't agree with getting struck in the head with a hard object or having a gun pointed out at you as potentially lethal threats? What happened with Rosenbaum isn't as clear cut but it is clear from the video that Rosenbaum was using more than words. It is the combination of Rosenbaum's threat along with him engaging with Rittenhouse physically that would lead to reasonable doubt on the use of force by Rittenhouse.
Well Grosskuertz admitted under oath as a witness for the prosecution that Rittenhouse didn't point his gun and shoot at him until he (Grosskuertz) aimed his gun at Rittenhouse. Huber hit him in the head with a skateboard. Rosenbaum yelled he would kill him and chased him and reached for the barrel of the gun. Had Rosenbaum not been killed he would have been charged with arson according to the prosecution. Both Rosenbaum and Huber were convicted of violent felonies in the past, so even though that info wasn't in evidence, an assumption could be made that these weren't good guys and did provoke.
