And a lot of those women go to jail. Not only that, but they go to jail longer than the men who murder their partners https://www.domesticshelters.org/ar...longer-prison-sentences-after-killing-abusers
What racist views? If you dont do/do the things I listed you wont get shot. What does that have to do with race. When you play the race card you know you've lost the debate.
I mean, really? Do you read the **** you write? He didn't walk into a town being burned down - he walked into a protest where people were...protesting. And you are talking about who is biased? Ok, you just went full idiot right there.
I didn't lose the debate. I just told you what I'm going to do to protect my family is my business. Same as it is with you protecting your family. This is still an individuals right in this country. No debating this. Even though the left would love for this to change. They would like no individual gun rights and the Rittenhouse case was the 1st test run at doing away with citizens rights to own weapons.
I didn't say anything about your family or your rights. I simply gave a scenario and asked you a question which you refused to answer. I'm done wasting time on this. G'night.
He had every right to be there on those streets and every right to defend himself. I just wish there were 10,000 more like him.
I answered your question, you just didn't like my answer. I will always be armed and willing to protect myself/family. You just threw out a bunch of dumb scenarios that will never happen. But yes if somebody pulls a gun say at church you have every right to pull your gun and kill that b*stard. BTW, way to avoid giving me your thoughts on the 2nd Amendment. Great job at deflecting and avoinding by trying to change the subject.
I don't have anything against guns. I myself have considered buying a shot gun. But I think if you are stupid enough to bring a gun to a protest and bear it openly, you deserve to get shot.
I think if you're following the laws that you have a right to do whatever you want to do in this country. BTW, that 1 rioter who was carrying a gun had exactly this happen to him. I was taught to never ai a gun at anything you dont intend to shoot. Dude pointed his gun and got shot.
Leave me/my family alone and you wont need a gun. Unless you enjoy hunting, which I'm going to assume you've neer done. BTW, I'm not a big hunter/fisher guy although I've done it in the past and will probably do it in the future.
My comment was more about dropping that charge on a technicality which is great for the defense but not anyone else who has to deal with that ambiguity/loophole. Also, I wouldn't let my minor roam around neighborhoods past a personal or mandated curfew with a semi-legal firearm. That's way different than teaching your kid how to respect your gun and home. You like to think and brag that you can train your kid to be on the "right side" except all bets are off in these cases where people bring firearms to demonstrations. I actually do commend him for putting out fires though the commentary in his defense was treating him like a stuttering naive kid who didn't fully know the dangers lurking around that night. Well that doe eyed babe has blood on his hands for the rest of his life and if you believe his breakdown or call it PTSD, what does that make him...a soldier on the battlefield? I seem to recall a lighter sense of guilt for sending youths into the meat grinder that is our military because it's voluntary and we sing praises and tributes while exploiting every aspect of their lives, potential and well being for the sake of our... greater interest. Just didn't think we'd jump into supporting kids to do that on the streets as well. I guess that's a failure on older folks like me.
Was this the result of a protest or criminally responsible rioters? How about this woman who lost her furniture business? https://nypost.com/2020/08/26/kenosha-store-owner-in-tears-as-she-sees-business-burnt-to-ground/ More 'protests' https://abc7chicago.com/kenosha-shooting-protest-looting-fires/6402998/ "The Kenosha Business Alliance said more than 100 businesses were damaged during the unrest, and at least 40 businesses were destroyed. "It could be as high as $50 million of losses, together with the businesses, the public infrastructure, the public buildings and what the tenants have lost," said Heather Wessling Grosz, vice president of the Kenosha Area Business Alliance. You can agree or disagree or be ambivalent about what Rittenhouse did, but to act like this was nothing more than a 'protest' clearly is disingenuous on your part.
