Your scenario is a biased way to defend your point of view which by the way is wrong. There are 1,000's if not an infinite amount of scenarios where pulling a gun out is inappropriate and unnecessary. Like, a store, a mall, a ball game, a church, concert, movies and the list goes on. If a gun comes out and is being pointed at innocent people doing nothing but minding their own business then yes a 2nd gun could come out for self defense. No, the 1st individual who pulled out a gun first will not get away with a self defense case because the gun he pulled out was to threaten others while also putting lives in danger. If a guy open carries a gun into a dangerous situation with people who are burning down a whole town then the gun is absolutely 100% appropriate and only a dumbass would instigate and or chase that individual down knowing damn well you are attacking someone who is armed and that person can protect themselves lethally if needed. Why do you hate freedom? Why do you hate or right to self defense? Why!!!!! Its anti American...
Honestly I thought the defense team was pretty bad .... they just got lucky the video evidence was so strong otherwise Kyle woulda been convicted. The judge was pretty bad too - I find it funny that people felt he took Kyle's side because on every single ruling that mattered , the defense got its way.

All of this doesn't matter, he broke no laws and defended himself when he was attacked by angry mob. To this I say kudos.
Even when it is self-defense the woman will often go to jail. It's a big double standard. White men can claim self-defense. Women and minorities not so much. Women can if it's a minority that was involved in the confrontation. But really, race plays a big part of who gets to claim self-defense.
