I really like Jalen's play today as well. Shot well and probably had his best inside finishing game. He took many tough drives and finished them against good shot blockers. Poor guy only had 2 shot attempts in the 4th. Sengun played well too as always. KJ needs more minutes. At the end of the day, I'm so glad to see Jalen play well. He has looked more and more composed. Very excited to see what kind of player he becomes by the 2nd half of this season

The Knicks scored 13 points in the first. They all but handed the game over and the Rockets yet again fall short of 100 points.

They may not win another game.

Danuel House’s defense held the knicks to 13 first quarter points. I was wrong about him and I apologize.

now we can trade him for an all-star caliber player, right.

    Right????

Fast forwarded it to the end as soon as Sengun got subbed out because I knew it was going to be an L.

    Oh imagine my surprise.

    Note to Silas:
    Rockets lose by 7.
Point spread before the game was Knicks by 11.5
Brooks in about 3 minutes (2 min 55 secs) was +3

House in 2 mins 10 secs was -5

    Just saying

If you have not seen the marked improvement of Green and the entire team's ball movement and hustle in his absence, then you sir are the one who is not watching. KPJ dominates the ball to the detriment of everyone else and pouts when things don't go his way.

Not sure why all the hate on Woods this year. Woods scores so easily he had a good game, overall the Rockets played well just too many turnovers.

I think KPJ is further along as a PG than James Harden was when he was 21. Not to say he will one day end up even in the same conversation as Harden, but there were plenty of flashes in the G League and in some Rockets games last season where his talent and vision stood out.

He'll get better with stuff over time, I believe in his work ethic. I remember Harden's first attempts at alley oop passes. Took him more than a year to master it.

Time will tell if my faith is misplaced.

Btw I was enjoying listening to the Knicks broadcast, best in the business, but every once in a while Mike Breen's mic would pick up Ackerman's overly enthusiastic calls. Made me appreciate how much more laid back Breen and Frazier are, and that I don't have to listen to Craig's futile and grating attempts for soundbites.

KP’s usage rate is the same as Green. Only takes 12 shots per game. Dominates the ball where?

He has poor decision making (because he’s not a point guard) he’s not jacking shots.

Also KP’s absense isn’t the only adjustment made in the past two games.

you said this level of effort isn’t possible with KP yet we’ve fought in close games with contenders with him on the court.

Cuz he makes boneheaded plays that cost us games. Doesn't matter if he can score easily. He doesn't box out and finish defense possessions. He missed soo many free throws. And heck he even had a violation on inbounding the ball today....

Harden always had the vision he just didnt pass the ball much. KPJ is nowhere near that. He has no vision or ball handling. He can become a great 3 and d.
