I hate seeing many possessions where he doesn't touch the ball or isnt involved in the offense. The ego on this team is ridiculous, we have way too many selfish guys on the roster. I thought the "vets" on this team would try to help the young guys out, but they are just looking for theirs. When he gets the ball I wish Wood would set him some real screens...
Imagine what he could do with more touches and spacing on the floor. Jalen is instant offense, felt like he coulda had some more 30 point games but we just stop feeding him when he gets it going...
It's bad that the vets freeze him out but at some stage Jalen has to go and demand the rock. He's too willing to disappear into the corner and should stop listening to Nice Guy Steve if that's what his instructions are
He's playing more efficiently ever since Gordon started running point. I think it's good that he's clearly deferring to a veteran player and picking his spots smartly. I don't mind him getting less touches but playing more efficient and smart basketball
if I had Jalen's talent I'm blowing up every offensive action im not involved in. Im going to try and mug EG even though he is 3 times my size to get the ball.
I mean against the piston he was calling for the ball but they just ignored him. But yes he needs to be more of an alpha and demand the ball instead of being okay with it just because he is a rookie.
Yeah that’s exactly how I feel too. He needs to move without the ball more. Some hard cuts and whatnot. Those selfish pricks ain’t gonna pass you the ball if you just park in the corners.
One of the problems with allowing vets to “showcase their value” is that they will inherently try to get theirs, because they want to be out of here and on a contender. Sometimes I’m sure it’s not even a conscious thing, but just as unselfishness is contagious, so too can be selfishness. We need to move on from some of our older guys and free up some more time/shots for the youngsters. Clearly they’re raring to go and figuring things out, even if their path is still a little bumpy.

they want team offence, they don't want a one on one game. The ball moves around, but sometimes there is way too much passing. I think the fact is, Green isn't selfish enough
To be fair, Jalen was supposedly this guy with killer instinct and a Kobe type, so if he is then he should show it. Make people pass it to you, call for the ball etc.
To be fair I’d rather have some raw sashimi and ultra-rare steak than the **** sandwich some of our other guys are putting out. He is indeed still raw but he’s showing some good signs right now
