I do not trust rich sheiks but I also do not trust ball clubs owned by fans.

Not in the European calendar so I guess it's not an official FIFA date (or UEFA just won't participate).

Reports coming out that Aguero will be retiring. No doubt that one of the greatest premiere strikers but man i'll always remember him at independiente.

At the time the press in argentina really went out of their way to make it aguero vs messi. if i remember correctly the argentina national team was going trough some problems and as always they tried to blame the euro based players. Aguero kinda became the face of the arguement against euro based players. Used to be play a lot further from goal in those days

Di Maria at Rosario Central, Lavezzi at San Lorenzo, Kun at Independiente

Thankful that TYC sports used to be included in any spanish tv package and i got to grow up with those games

Forgot about him lol but yea tevez at boca and corinthians was just something else

It wasn't quite a golden age of south american football but it was a time where you could still see talent come and establish themselves before moving abroad. Now it is almost impossible.

Finally, now we need to get rid of too many like players and get some defenders.....

We brought in Sancho, so he should play.

    4-3-3

    Sancho
    Rashford
    Ronaldo

    Fernandez
    Van De Beek
    McTominay

    Shaw
    McGuire
    Varanne
    Wanbasaka

    Henderson

    Key reserves.

    D- Lingard, Torres
    MF - Fred, Mata
    F - Cavani

    Jettison or sell:

    Lingard, Pogba, Jones, De Gea

It is time to pick your best 11, and move the rest.

For starters, they have to bench Maguire. You can't keep running someone who's playing so incredibly poorly out there. I'm hoping for a complete revamp of the back line, with the exception of Shaw. Everyone else can go...including Varane. Bring Ethan Laird home from loan and put him on the right. Start Bailly and Mengi in the middle and see what happens because it can't possibly be worse. De Gea isn't to blame. He's not making the same boneheaded mistakes he had been making that caused him to lose his job to Henderson last season. He's getting hung out to dry by blockhead Maguire and a terrible Lindelof. Once the defense is sorted, the rest will better fall into place. The mids are having to drop too deep to cover a back line that can't cover. That leaves Ronaldo on his own for way too much of the game. Fernandes needs to be able to stay forward and he can't...especially when he's stuck with McFred. I'd even be interested in trying McTominay in the back.

There's so much f&%^ing talent but it hasn't been used properly since Sir Alex retired.

Still missing a quality defensive midfielder. That's neither McT nor Matic. They need to get someone in the winter window or it'll be the same crap from midfield. Everything you wrote was spot on though. Maguire needs to be the first name dropped from the team sheet.

If common sense prevails and contracts work out it should be
    Pochettino to United
    Zidane to PSG

I saw someone online write that
I haven't paid much attention to sports Covid protocols so I'm guessing if they were vaxxed they wouldn't have to go into quarantine?

Right. There are minor local differences. Afaik - if they were vaccinated and not positive, they could leave isolation after four days or so at latest, since they're not, they have to remain quarantined for 10-14 days.

Now look what happens if they don't get paid for the quarantine days.
