one night I’ll forgive . Like you said , we don’t know all the info ...

And I even understand playing Theis .. because he WAS playing quite well . But he coulda sat wood .

if the mins trend for house goes up and sengun goes down ... it just better not be for too long .

green , I love , I want him to succeed... but he hasn’t deserved time over Gordon or nwaba (who played with a broken hand for us) or house or Tate or KMJ (who has been here for a year ) or DJ (a veterans vet )... but he is .

we are committed to playing him even if it kills the team .

but sengun we have not shown that same interest in .... and I’d understand , if we weren’t 1-14 .

senguns body may not even be able to handle 25 mpg for 80 games . Greens likely will hit a wall at some point too .

    just incredibly frustrating

Like I said we just don't know the full story. Does it make sense that an NBA coach would not play Sengun? Are casual fans smarter than Silas? There much be a reason. Perhaps it is coming from above his head. There has to be a reason. Maybe he wants to give different players more playing time on a given night so they can get a rhythm vs just 15 min each. Maybe Sengun wasn't feeling all that great that day. Maybe Sengun isn't buying into his offense and Silas is sending a message.

    We just don't know.

I’m sure Silas has a reason and I’m sure that he knows more about basketball that 99.99999 percent of all CF members . He’s probably smarter too

but when you’re 1-14 you deserve to get **** on and nit picked relentlessly

Nah the goal was to be entertained while winning 30 to 35 games... I'm not entertained... And winning a total of 30 games over 3 rebuilding years is pathetic..

Gentlemen - if all of us can point to the serious flaws in Silas’ decisions, then the most logical explanation is that we are losing on purpose.

Several of you pointed out that there’s no way House deserves to start…again, another obvious statement.

The BEST explanation for all of our decisions right now is that we are purposefully…as our #1 priority…trying to lose.

I do believe this will change later in the season as we lock down a top 3-4 pick.

If anything, this actually gives me confidence that the staff believes we have the capacity to win if they are going to such extreme measures to ensure otherwise.

    Here’s what I expect:

    1) Lots of intentional losing pre trade deadline
    2) Rational basketball decisions focused on player development after the deadline.

I expect player development the whole season.

green should always be leading the team in minutes, FGAs, and usage. sengun should be leading all bigs in minutes, FGAs, and usage. KJ should be close behind him. garuba should be in the rotation. Christopher should be getting reps in the G league instead of riding the bench.

there is no reason to ever see house, nwaba, or thies on the court again. they don't help winning. they don't help organizing things for the young guys. they're just in the way. they should be locker room mentors at best.

wood needs to go, he's in the way, he's pouting, he's either regressed or isn't trying as hard as he did last year.

make those changes and let the chips fall where they may. maybe they lose another 20 in a row anyway. maybe they win a couple of games but still have the worst record. the point would be they have an identity and a direction and the young guys get a chance to improve.

I have little confidence in that staff.

Every team can win in this league, it is the draft cycle, the problem is developing without being that sloppy.

Basically they have little pressure from owner, from the media.

Saving costs is still high on that agenda list.

Stone is just a silent lawyer version of Morey. He has more freedom than Morey had I believe.

I think they should've fired Silas that night, because I don't think that's the team goal. Remember, they have other team's FRPs too. It would behoove them to fight for a play in game but that's dead now.

Wood is obviously out of here and despite the thoughts of many that the Rockets should trade him....once again, I keep saying there are not many 20/10 bigs in the league. And if he goes somewhere else and shine, those same fans are going to be SICK!

The Draft is not PROMISED, it takes kids 2,3,4 or more yrs to develop and from looking at what most consider the best in this draft, Chet Homegren, it's going to take him at least 3 - 4 yrs to develop....HE IS NOT KD!
