Wow! Loved both of those. Ted Yoder really had a challenge, playing outdoors in front of what I assume is his family. The kid on guitar is simply amazing! Not a missed note. Perfect. It's a great song that really lends itself to being covered. I'm going to send all 4 to each of our two kids, both self-isolated in apartments, our son in Dallas with his partner, our daughter, the incredible Dev across town here in Austin, by herself, the place tricked out with PC's, displays, and other stuff related to what she does. I'll start with Weezer, put the rest in order, and end with the original. Should trip them out. Thanks, guys. At least some good is coming out of this lunacy. I freely admit to paying little attention to much of the music of the '80's. Not all of it, of course, but a lot. Glad I got some new speakers for my desk in what I call "the study," and put a Klipsch sub in the room. One of the powered speakers has a sub outlet. Really made a difference. I have a 90 gallon aquarium and a wall with several bookshelves, along with things all over the place from my travels, and trips the two of us made.
I Was just talking about this today with a coworker who's in a Tears For Fears Tribute Band. I'm a little disappointed that Alison Moyet isn't joining them on their U.S. tour like she is for the UK tour. Would love to see her. I like Garbage, but I've already seen them twice and have never seen Alison Moyet or Yaz.
Born in the 1980s, but I think the 70s might've had better music by a hair. I feel like the 80s were great, but it was the beginning of the end, because of the powers of Corporate "MSM"/Record companies.
1970s were definitely the best decade of music, the golden era of Rock and saw the birth of electronic and rap music.
me too. whomever did the routing for this tour should be fired. maybe they have brits booking these shows b/c no american with any knowledge of our geography would do this! cleveland to dallas to phoenix...then backtrack to denver. its shorter from dallas to denver than it is from phoenix to denver! why would they do this? then from denver to bay area and then southern cali. then 3 days to drive all the freaking way across the country to florida. they will be driving through phoenix on the way...a city that they unnecessarily drove 30 hours out of the way to play a week previous. and why not do a houston show since they will be driving right through town? or new orleans? 05-20 Cincinnati, OH - Riverbend Music Center $ 05-21 Cleveland, OH - Blossom Music Center $ 05-24 Dallas, TX - The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory $ 05-27 Phoenix, AZ - Ak-Chin Pavilion $ 05-29 Denver, CO - Levitt Pavilion $ 06-01 Concord, CA - Concord Pavilion $ 06-02 Mountain View, CA - Shoreline Amphitheatre $ 06-04 Los Angeles, CA - The Forum $ 06-05 San Diego, CA - North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre $ 06-09 West Palm Beach, FL - iThink Financial Amphitheatre $ 06-10 Tampa, FL - MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheater $ 06-12 Atlanta, GA - Ameris Bank Amphitheatre $ 06-13 Charlotte, NC - PNC Music Pavilion $ 06-15 Detroit, MI - DTE Energy Music Theatre $ 06-16 Chicago, IL - Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre $ 06-17 Indianapolis, IN - Ruoff Music Center $ 06-19 Columbia, MD - Merriweather Post Pavilion $ 06-21 Philadelphia, PA - TD Pavilion at The Mann $ 06-22 Boston, MA - Leader Bank Pavilion $
