it doesn't matter. it's incredibly funny to me how the same folks in a short time span have so quickly changed their tune, especially with how confident a lot of these sure fire assumptions are. that's the point of revisiting threads like this.
I mean this team is basically a college team at this point. You dont like what Sampson has done at UH? Tilman would love it and he has ties to this franchise. I dunno just spitballing. Who would be your choice if it was yours to make?
Oh I was just saying because Sampson has no intention whatsoever of coaching in the NBA again. He was still thinking about it years ago but not at this point of his career. UH is his last stop before he officially retires. I posted this awhile back

Yeah had all his personal and team requests not been fulfilled in these recent years, Sampson would probably no longer be here but that isn't the case. Now everything is setup for him and his family for the future at UH and they will have the keys to the program
It woudl be cool if he won the title and then came to the Rockets. And then Clyde could take over at UH again. Flat circle and all that.
