That advice from Ja Morant boosted his confidence. He needs to link up with his Ja's Father to train. He's got tons of nice drills for attacking the paint.
Actually he's not and that would be a strawman arguement, but him along with others are generational talents imo. Don't have to be a fan of him of course, but objectively you can say him and others reached that level.
Only 2 assists from the quality of looks he generated is testimony to how bad the rest of the team played. I’d love to see him work on his handle some more.
he had arguably his best game last night. very cool and calm and played relatively mistake free basketball. He definitely looked a lot more comfortable bringing the ball and being the initiator instead of the 2nd/3rd action. Also he was defended by Dort the entire game. Leads credence to those that thought he would look a lot better with a lineup change / more spacing.
Not just a thriller problem but what's the deal with all these guards that were ok to good shooters missing uncontested shots? Corey Kispert, who I wanted Rockets to take before Sengun fell, 38% fg/.190 3pt% Suggs, I was almost convinced by Jorge or Basso that he was the guy and can shoot too! Fg 32%/ 3pt 23% / 3 ast to 3 tO Fade for Cade? FG 34% / 3pt 25% Shooting is supposed to be universal.
I'll take that as, "No, of course I don't make that excuse for anyone else, but I'm trying to hype one of the worst players in the league so I don't have anything serious to work with" No worries guy, keep trying.
I'm not concerned if a few simpletons who don't like getting called out on their BS ignore me.....in fact, I actively support anyone not intelligent enough to hold a serious conversation to do so. It makes the board a better place when they don't throw tantrums every time they say something stupid and get called out on it.
Duh, Our beloved K-mart, Kidd, Avery Johnson. Reggie Miller I mentioned in a previous thread started roughly from fg%. I just mean this crop specifically. Someone said the ball is different in yesterday's game thread.
it is different, and several players have already complained about it D-Lo was the latest one to talk about the new ball
It is "funny" how people make an accurate statement like that..... and funnier that you think he's the only player in the world who should get credit for assists that didn't happen.
Dude, all people are saying is Green's playmaking ability when watching the game was better than the two assists on the box score. No one ever said Green is the only player this happens to. Last night guys like Wood missed bunnies they usually make. It's that simple. Almost every pnr play with Green as the ball handler last night ended up with a good looking shot either from him or his teammates.
It's reaching to praise him for things that didn't happen. That kind of thing happens all the time when one of the worst players in the league has a rabid and delusional fanbase. Keep counting those "almost good plays" if you like, but till they turn onto actual good plays, you'll face push back on it
A good play is a good play by a guard dishing out. A teammate missing bunnies isn't his fault. With rookies especially teenagers, you look at how they play and not just box scores. We do the same with Sengun. He has made many great passes where his teammates either didn't pay attention that Sengun was dishing it to them or they missed a bunny and I'm sure you would note that in your praise for him and I would to. It's not like he's racking up a ton of assist numbers on the box score so we watch the games and see that he is a great passing big. We are evaluating players, not their box score. Why am I even interacting with you? You truly are a master baiter.
