in this particular game, Green proved his ball handling n distributing deserve further experiment at pg position…but that does not mean kpj's sitting a good thing, just as you pointed out.
Besides, imho, i would rather let kpj back to 3 once he recovered from the sprained ankle, Ego play 2 (i know the front office does not allow a pure rook starting lineup to embarrass their failure in nwaba theis signing), n then no brainer… KJ Sengun should play 4/5. Thats the legit starting lineup, in this lineup jalen, Ego, kpj n sengun, everybody can bring the ball up court, w/o wood/theis, their fast break gonna be pretty fluit as well as uptempo.
Tate, wood, theis, nwaba n snipa brooks&Matthews all off the bench, whoever unhappy about their backup roles, just send away midseason or end of the season.
All in all, only steady tweaks to our rotation could figure our who should stay for further development, who should go, who deserves more minutes.

When you make a comment like this you're implying that you have some coaching expertise that others do not have. I would expect this comment from someone that's coached organized basketball. With how hard you defend coaches I wonder if you've been one (not seriously...but more of a riff on how coaches always defend other coaches no matter what)

So I'll ask, can you explain anything that Silas could have done better? Because all you do after the games lately is swoop in and defend any coaching decision.

Even when nearly every Rocket fan wondered how they didn't play Sengun (who you call Sengum) more than 5 minutes you defend even that. Saying it's only '1' game. True...one game in the middle of a 12 game losing streak against a winnable team, a game that could have ended the streak and been even a small morale boost...before they go on to play...

The Knicks, Boston, Chicago, Hornets...and then OKC again. So that's looking like another 4 loses easy. Knicks struggling but I'm sure they'll be happy to have the Rockets in town to get right.

So umm...yeah, it would have been nice if the Coach played one of our better players more than 5 minutes and do what he could to put his team in position to win its 2nd game and end the losing streak. It's not '1' game, it's a 13 game losing streak that at some point has to end. So when you have a weak team before you, you try to end it then and there.

So, has Silas done anything wrong in your opinion?

 

When you lack talent you will obviously lose.

but when you’re losing by double digits every single game and the only time the team makes it competitive is when they’re down 15 and make a run and cut it to an 8 point loss instead of a blowout, that’s all on coaching.
