Cash is king. Lots of smaller business prefer cash since there are no credit card fees associated on their end. Usually they offer a cash discount. At smaller retailers, I usually pay cash either out of courtesy or discount.
Why are people anti-cash and anti-jersey. side note: When buy something like a cup of coffee, I can tell I'm their rare (and often first) cash customer of the day, because the Cashier's coins is still in that paper roll. The young cashiers are cool and polite though.
My daughter is the real ride or die. She went out the door today in her Rockets jersey, cap, and matching red and black Nikes.
Companies or organizations that make it so hard for you to give them your money. My county alarm monitoring fee is due this time every year. It's like $5.00 a year....but the only way to pay it is to: print out a form fill out the form (by hand) write a check for $5 mail both to their address I don't even have a checkbook anymore. I always have to go digging through my financial drawer to try and find a old check book that maybe has one left. Then find an envelope, then find a stamp (I usually have to go buy a book, since this is the only thing I mail every year), then hope it doesn't get lost in the mail and the check actually clears in the next 2 or 3 weeks. Seriously....mail a check?? In this day and age?? Come on. Ridiculous.
