Imagine listening to this old boomer judge crack jokes and tell stories while you're fighting for your life.
Actually I don't agree with that because I've clearly said multiple times that prosecuting Rittenhouse for murder is problematic because of the Castle Doctrine laws. So yeah... I do think he has a self defense case. That is NOT a problem "seeing both sides" of this case. But that's not the issue with this simplistic concept of arguing American Protests Vs MAGA vigilantism. MAGA Vigilantism's goal is a political responsive tool. The "dangerous rioters" is a red herring meant to distract the conversation from an American Protests goals & ideology within our societal framework vs the goal of the rising MAGA Vigilantism movement. Kyle Rittenhouse can be both not guilty of 1st degree murder in THIS CASE given unclear evidence if it was self defense or not and also can be wrong in the sense of our society where the political goal of him and groups that MAGA Vigilantes belong to are activating to display potential violence as a way to shut down free speech that is inconvenient to their political goals that they believe give them power. The Kyle Rittenhouse case is a huge distraction from us being able to discuss the larger issue of organized displays of potential violence from the right (MAGA vigilantes at protests, school board provocateurs, death threats online, or just the good ole storming of the Capital, etc.) in order to achieve political power. Issues like racial justice, voting rights, climate, other minority rights, etc. will be largely affected if we just grow numb to this rise of threats of violence on the right that are there to suppress the voices rallying to these issues. That's my only point in my response to you previously because you played into the just another leftist riot narrative. This case, and that narrative are completely separate topics, and there is a larger Kyle Rittenhouse problem that lives outside the "is he guilty of murder or not" argument.
This judge is either too out of touch to know what metadata is and tampering evidence or he's too much of a coward to make the decision to declare mistrial himself. He'll leave it up to the jury and wash his hands.
Yeah... his coverage yesterday was just them discussing the case for the most part because there was no real action. Generated over 1,000,000 views.
The Judge is a coward, the defense incapable, and the prosecution criminal. On top of that, the most politicized murder trial in decades is being held without the jury sequestered away, making them open to intimidation.
Dallas/Dorn etc... Truth is the BLM'ers dont want to be held accountable for anything. It's time people started protecting themselves and property from the thug arm of BLM.
Turns out the prosecution has Handbrake on their laptop, a program used to compress video files to reduce bandwidth. Defense and Judge won't do anything about it though.
No one likes to be held accountable for their actions. That's kind of a universal thing. "Black Lives Matter" refers to what, exactly? It used to be a radical social justice movement with some specific political aims, but now anybody who is pissed off because of how Black people are treated by our criminal justice system can say they "support" Black Lives Matter. Does that mean any such person who commits a murder is somehow doing it for the BLM cause? No, of course not.
Its referring to Black Lives Matter Inc. an organization with a terrorist (Susan Rosenberg) on its board of directors.
