But he did have the assault rifle. If he was doing those things without the assault rifle I suspect you are correct. Heck, if he only stayed with the other armed people at the business he supposedly went to protect. But he didn't. And three people were shot, and two killed.

btw, I fully expect rittenhouse to walk. He will then make money from this. And people are already making a hero out of him, but even more after his appearances on fox news. Heck, I won't be surprised if he gets a trip to Mar-A-Lago.

There was a video posted of it. It’s hard to see what was going on. He appeared to throw some punches at a girl’s back. There was some other argument/fight going on, it seemed.

In this case Rittenhouse used very appropriate judgement in using his weapon. I would like to think if I was in that situation I would've done the exact same thing after being chased by the mob hit me in the head with a skateboard and you're a dead man.

He was a member of the mob who was willing to chase down and confront what he believed to be an active shooter that might be targeting random protestors. Also he was a member of the mob who showed restraint when he could have shot Rittenhouse and gotten off on a self-defense claim.

Oh one of those type videos.

That video has nothing to do with this case.

Chasing someone down who you believe to have committed a crime, and when they turn to defend themselves you shoot them in purported self-defense. Doesn’t this remind you of another case?

Is it self defense if you choose to chase after someone who then attacks you because they think their life is in danger? Or is the question of who is chasing who prior to the shooting not matter?

He said he and his friends used the guns out hunting on his friends family land, so there must've been land/woods somewhere nearby.

An hour away. Could you get groceries and supplies in Lake Tahoe?

I've been to both Reno/Lake Tahoe many times, so I will answer my question, yes.

Maybe you should go checkout this protestors past violent history.

Hopefully 1,000 Rittenhouses will be out there tonight if a not guilty verdict is handed down and violence/destruction of property happens after the verdict.

Rittenhouse is not a hero. That doesnt mean this wasn't a case of self defense. His elimination of a pedophile was decent luck.

Smart decision on delay, they will announce in late morning when most protesters still asleep and will be raining and cold so hopefully the early bird political rioters that might be up late morning will get rained on and catch a cold as they attempt to burn and loot tomorrow

There is a part in me that thinks jurors are feeling the heat with everything going on around them, they will give into pressure and find the young man guilty so Kenosha and the rest of the nation won’t go up in flames again. Please God, give them the strength to do the right thing. Our Republic depends on it.

Of course not. You don’t believe in the most reasonable gun laws, do you’d break them.

Folks here are already making him a hero. And just in the case of zimmerman the laws are not always correct and bad people get away with killing other people.

I'm not hearing any threats of violence and rioting if he is found guilty; only innocent. Why is that?

That's not really his problem, he is also on trial for murder.

I like you always fail to mention that this whole thing was started when some crazy person named Rosenbaum tried to attack a guy with a AR15 for no reason at all.

Yes Kyle shouldn't have been there, Rosenbaum shouldn't have been there either trying to grab a gun away from someone. There have been plenty of people that showed up with rifles at these protests, riots or whatnot. I don't remember one incident where someone tried to grab the rifle away from them without any legitimate reason.

Rosenbaum was trying to attack kyle b/c kyle was putting out a fire rosenbaum started. This was testified to by two people. Kyle should of been there putting out fires like a good person. He should of had a gun to protect himself as well so he brought the only gun he was legally allowed to have.
