So... he didn't have gun or safety training. And he really wasn't legally supposed to be able to purchase the assault rifle he used to kill the two people either (which is why he had someone else buy the gun illegally for him). Which also explains why the assault rifle was legally registered.

I agree that he shouldn't have been there. But it wasn't illegal for him to be there. He's a naive young kid who felt like he could help protect his community.

While that is absolutely true. The same could really be said about just every person that showed up that night.

I also don't think he intigated the situation more than anyone else there that night. A lot of people showed up that night brandishing guns, a lot of people that night showed up burning stuff down and causing a riot atmosphere.

The only shooting happened in all of that was due to Rosenbaum trying to grab someone rifle, and then everything went to ****.

Was there ever determined why Rosenbaum attacked Rittenhouse in the first place. It's not like anyone even approached Rittenhouse

And by being where he shouldn't have been, carrying an assault rifle he should not have owned, and killing two people and wounding a third, he will be financially rewarded, elevated to hero status, and others will be encouraged to follow.

Not necessarily to directly trigger folks on the left, but more making fun of them for how they were manipulated into thinking that what had been a harmless gesture is now a secret white power signal. As the ADL stated, many in the right who don’t fall under the white nationalist bucket use it in that manner.

That is frankly the dumbest thing I have ever read, the Left is generally for fairness for all.

Again... you think that rittenhouse was sitting in that bar thinking of ways he could make fun of people on the left by using a hand gesture in a bar with members of the Proud Boys while out on bail because he knew the bar's security cameras would catch him doing it?

Again... way more likely this 17 year old at a bar with his mom, who has claimed he was bullied by people calling him names, found a group of guys who made him feel like a big shot, and he may have even looked up to them, so he made the hand gesture. Not to trigger left wingers, not as a joke, but to feel a part of the Proud Boys in the bar.

When you said minorities do you mean just blacks? I am a damn minority but not black, and I agree that the left is much more racist than the right.

Every freaking elections, my phone is being bombarded from the Dems just because of my surname. I was born in America, but growing up and until now, I was being asked where I was from continually, and it is usually coming from the left.

I was being talked down to and made to feel like I’m a victim in a racist America, and it is always coming from the left.

If someone is always having race on his/ her mind 24/7, I’d say that person is a damn racist.

Just like the left is for freedom of expression and inclusion, unless that expression doesn't agree with their opinions and inclusion as long as you think the way they think. Conservative minorities are actually told that they are "white supremacists" and completely incapable of thinking for themselves, yet the left is for "fairness for all"?

Don't get me wrong, there are so many closed-minded and gullible people on the right, but the fact that the left doesn't think they are just as bad is mind boggling to me.

"The Fake Crusade for Free Speech - Behind the Bastards | iHeart" https://www.iheart.com/podcast/105-...de/the-fake-crusade-for-free-speech-46765887/

I suggest when you are free, grab a cup of coffee or your favorite beverage and sit down and listen to this episode of this podcast to show how successful nthe right is at framing the free speech argument. Shows some surprising statistics about speech in college campuses and how it doesn't fit with the right wing narrative.

Anyways I'm sure many of your complaints about free speech from the left is usually just private companies exercising their rights of their private property and kicking out whom they chose to. It's the right that actually violates free speech principles in the sense that they use the government to suppress speech. Look at all the bills that are in queue and that have passed regarding restricting what books and content can be taught in public schools.

And which conservative minorities are labeled as white supremacists? I never heard a blanket generalization along those terms. Now specific ones like Candace Owens? Ya she's nothing more than a tool for white supremacists. The whole "we aren't racists, we have members of x group that support us" is logic as old as fascism. He'll Roy Cohn was Jewish and bought into the whole rhetoric about "Jews= cultural Marxists" and he was gay also. Didn't stop him from doing witch hunts for alleged socialists and gay people in the federal government.

Except Members of the mob believed he was an active shooter. They had reason to believe that even if they were wrong. The person who Rittenhouse shot but didn't kill believed Rittenhouse was an active shooter but tried to make sure before pulling the trigger on Rittenhouse. Rittenhouse instead shot Grosskreutz.

I salute you. All those accomplishments in life as a millionaire, doctor, enterpeneur, slam dunk champion while being a minority.
