lol he can shoot, he can pass...............................and you know what, every rookie that has ever come in to the league has holes in their games to improve apon. When he gets bigger and stronger the next few years, he will get better defensively as well. Judging him after 14 games in to his career is just stupid. He is going to be inconsistent, every rookie is. He will start taking better shots and making them, learn over the years to get to his strengths more and more in the NBA. You ever think that Silas tells him where he wants him to stand in games and he just listens to him?

The thing is, you just cant have a roster in the modern NBA that shoots as bad from the 3 point line as we do. Our back court in particular is horrible at shooting (and at driving, and at shooting midrange, and at basically doing anything on offense). When your most reliable offensive player is Jae'sean Tate, you've got a major, major problem.

What a very, very, very, very, very low bar.

I mean sh*t. You can say I can shoot the ball. I'll miss 30 out of 35 3s.

Probably a better shooter than Jalen with those numbers actually.

Question. Think of a shooter. Actually think of 20 of them. Do you ever see any of those 20 shooters miss as badly as Jalen does? As frequently? The answer is a resounding no.

hahahahaha. Some people just don't understand that he is a rookie

if he was doing this as a 7 year veteran, you might have a point

I mean Lonzo Ball use to miss by miles in his rookie year......................now look at him

That would almost make sense if Lonzo came into the league touted as a shooter/scorer who would change a franchise.

Except he was a high IQ pass first guard.

    You almost got there. Almost.

He did to a point as people talked about the 40 percent he shot from three in college. Jalen Green is going to be awesome when he figures it all out and doubters will come crawling back

    Lol. 'Doubters'.

Forgive us for expecting a 'franchise altering' top draft pick to not come into the NBA with so many flaws. Hey - remember how he was G League tested and the most NBA-ready prospect? HAHAHAHAHAHA
    - can't shoot (maybe check the box score, maybe check the actual shots he takes and HOW they miss - before you claim he is)
    - can't defend
    - can't dribble under pressure
    - can't get past a defender if they nudge him
    - has only looked comfortable in transition when there is no defender in front of him

    Huh. Yeah. 'doubters'. Right.

Imagine drafting a player who is 2 years after from being 2 years away from being a reliable rotation player. Not star. Rotation player. lulllzlzzzzz

Trust me, I won't have to come crawling back. Jalen won't be on the team at that point.

lol you're just a fan that is not willing to wait for a rookie to blossom.

    can't shoot..................

    apparently he can't dribble

lol he is only 19 and needs to build his body up.................all your complaining about the strength arguments are really stupid and not taking in to account his age and body size at the moment

russel westbrook can dribble and shoot but hes a terrible basketball player

i am sure you could put 30 undrafted players in jalens place, give them the keys, the green light and 35 minutes a night and anyone of them would score baskets(many even more efficiently than jalen) and make a few intriguing dribbles and passes, it doesnt mean they will become good basketball players in nba sense

No, you're just a fan who refuses to acknowledge how bad a player is, simply because that player was promised as the square puzzle piece to fill the circle hole that James Harden left.

It's ok. I get it. At some point though will have to turn your blinders off and accept what the facts are.
