Flynn was rubbish, should never have been drafted as high as he was....................i think we are talking about Johnny here? This is different than then anyway. Just have patience, you will see
Green is a 4 week rookie. Green is a 4 week rookie. Green is a 4 week rookie. Green is a 4 week rookie. Do you not understand that? We are supposed to be developing our rookies and KPJ AT YEAR 3 BETTER BE GOOD AT DEFENSE BY NOW.
KPJ is only 21.......and has only played 90 games in his career, he is still learning the game himself, still learning how to be consistent. In a new role as well at PG
That wouldn't work for salary matching purposes. It would have to be Kuminga AND Wiseman. Or Wiseman and Kevon Looney - which would leave them with no bigs. But to make the money work it'd have to be something like that.
This team needs to bring in Scottie Pippen to talk to the team to show them what happens when you are a selfish a-hole.
And you're making excuses for him but throwing rookies under the bus I find that hilarious. HE IS NOT A POINT GUARD. Im not saying trade him but he should not be a point or shooting guard on this team. He should not being to create or play make for anyone.
He's a young combo guard that has been struggling. In fact, according to TPA, KPJ is the 3rd worst player in the NBA....ahead of only Jalen Green and Jalen Suggs. Your boy Jalen Green is also the 2nd worst defender in the NBA ahead of only Damian Lillard according to TPA. The good news for KPJ is that he seems to be trending in the right direction especially on defense, starting to make up for a brutal start to the season where he turned the ball over WAY too much and that's largely what is still dragging down his numbers. Green on the other hand is the exact opposite. He had a fluke game that kept him above water for a while, but as more games are played he's sinking like a rock.
We have to let them grow. For years people wanted to go down the tanking/development route, well this is what you get. We complain about rockets not developing talent then don't let them develop talent when they try lol
I think the best case for drafting Mobely was that you had kpj. I think green and him are going to struggle to mesh and kpj doesn't strike me as the cp3 type guard that can be successful even when scoring under 15 bc he is getting the team involved. I struggle to see how thia coaching staff will make that work. I would not give up on either but I sure as heck have given up on the coaching staff
if Green is the worst player on the team, then Brandon Jennings…oops, I mean KPJr…isn’t far behind KPJr has had 2 offseasons to get better and is still almost just as trash as weakling rookie Green? Big yikes
lol, Brickley really needs to stop it with all the highly edited videos…KPJr did all that shooting with Brickley, yet his jumper still just as broke as ever KPJr is a Russ level shooter and has nowhere near the level of speed and athleticism…that’s who the Rockets are busy trying to make a PG
And Jalen is 19 and has less than 20 games in his career. Stop being disingenuous, you can't let one slide after 3 seasons in the league for having a low number of games then slam the other one who has a LOT less experience. Is Porter being in a new position what stops him running back on D if he misses a shot or is that something we're supposed to pretend doesn't happen? Kid's a baby.
Do you watch the games? KPJ has been improving steadily. All the he’s a 3 year veteran stuff is irrevelant since he has only played about 80 games. He has some bad offensive games and a few defensive lapses, but is already an above average defensive guard.
KPJr has been outfit inefficient with terrible decision making and a broken shot. He's also a terrible finisher around the basket. He's been horrendous to this point. some of yall really need to stop with this nonsense about him improving steadily. defensive guard is a lame way of trying to find a way to say he isn't sucking. If the rockets want a defensive guard on the floor, they could just throw nwaba out there in his minutes
Do u watch the games? No, it’s not irrelevant at all. Some bad offensive games? More like he’s been bad offensively in the vast majority of the games so far. can’t shoot from anywhere, turns the ball over like crazy, and has terrible body language How is he improving steadily when he’s even worse than last year, and last year he wasn’t even good?
