Yes if nobody ever showed up anywhere that year there would have been no one hurt and nothing damaged
LOL Unfreaking believable Dude got shot because he pulled his gun. If he wouldn't have chased Rittenhouse or pulled his gun then he wouldn't have gotten shot. Leave people/property alone and you wont get shot. Business owners put out a call to private citizens to help protect their businesses because LEO wasn't allowed/didn't do their jobs. Rittenhouse answered the call for help. A very noble thing to do. Something people in rural areas would do at the drop of a hat.
He has been trained shooting guns for years. People in the country start shooting guns at a very young age. This should worry looters/criminals.
-Biden called him a white supremacist -MSNBC showed the prosecution closing arguments but not the defense. -YouTube censored pundits after the gun charge was thrown out. These people want riots.
Who the hell is she and why does her opinion matter ...... other than it suits the narrative. It was the judge who put himself in that position. And it is customary that those free on bond at the time of their trials are NOT handcuffed unless they cause a disturbance. People looking for any reason to complain here ....
rittenhouse never took a gun safety nor hunter safety training course... certainly not on the unlicensed assault rifle that he illegally purchased by having someone else purchase for him because he legally could not purchase it.
I don't get the issue here? Is he not? Didn't his classmates hint at it by his aggressive political takes bootlicking the MAGA movement which at is core is a white nationalist movement?
Showing up armed is the stupidest way to protect the property. I already mentioned numerous other ways to protect the property that would have been better plans and wouldn't have ended with two dead people and a third wounded. The dude who pulled his gun after chasing Rittenhouse was doing a brave and noble thing. He had no idea of why Rittenhouse had fought anyone or shot. He only knew there was an active shooter and a whole street full of potential targets for that active shooter. So he went to help stop the shooter. He saw Rittenhouse and didn't immediately just shoot him which he could have done and gotten away on self defense. But Rittenhouse wasn't restrained and shot that guy. Rittenhouse didn't help protect any property at all. No action Rittenhouse took helped protect that property. If people's only solution to protecting property is to show up with a gun, they are poor problem solvers and may have a limited ability to solve problems. The same goes for those that think that's best solution who weren't there.
There is a big difference too between training how to shoot and training to how to provide security and give emergency aid. Frankly learning how to shoot is one of the last skills that you want in these type of situations.
Agreed but hopefully gun safety would be included and also instill an amount of respect for how to treat and use guns.
Grosskreutz fell for mob mentality and nearly murdered someone under the assumption. I wouldn't call him a hero. He didn't know Rittenhouse was an active shooter. He never witnessed Rittenhouse shoot someone. Rittenhouse was running away when he was attacked by a mob. Rittenhouse had a fire extinguisher and prevented vandalism to a car lot.
Oh, agree wholeheartedly. My dad had me and my younger brother complete gun and hunter safety courses before purchasing us rifles and taking us hunting. rittenhouse and his parent didn't even take that level of responsibility. Worse, rittenhouse actively went around the minimal gun regulation in his state by having someone else purchase the assault rifle he used to kill two people.
But do we know if rittenhouse was part of one? Was the story below proven false (don't know... didn't follow this that closely) Kyle Rittenhouse, out on bail, flashed white power signs at a bar, prosecutors say In his 90-minute visit to the bar, Kyle Rittenhouse, 18, was seen consuming alcohol while being serenaded by a group of adult men who sang the Proud Boys’ anthem, according to the motion https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-new...ed-white-power-signs-bar-prosecutors-n1254250
