We are bad at that for sure. That said, Wood's game would improve instantly. Even KJ can get some of the lobs. There's lot of things Harden did for us that we're not getting from KPJ and others.

Not really. The model is 100% stats and record based to produce their list of the most likely MVP choices. No narrative. And I don’t believe it weighs recent games more than earlier season games.

Montrezl is on the #1 team in the East averaging 18/8 on KD level efficiency. His resume checks all the boxes this MVP prediction model looks for.

Harden has turned things around lately but his per game numbers and efficiency aren’t jumping out compared to the rest of the bunch.

Having followed their predictor for many, many years Harden’s inclusion, AT THIS POINT, is a little odd to me based off the things this predictor generally favors.

Harden was averaging 10 apg last year before he got traded, and that roster was trash and couldn’t shoot

he could get it off lobs to Wood, passes to cutters like Tate, and the few threes the bricklayers make, but the main reason he wouldn’t average 10 apg here is because he’d have to focus more on scoring

lol you are basically saying Porter jnr's playmaking ability is as great as Harden's with that comment....................Harden also could drag a double team to open things up. It is not the same team as last year. You seem to think it is easy, it's not

it is easy to understand, you are saying Harden averaged 10apg as if it is an easy thing to do on any team. Porter Jnr can't open things up like Harden can, he also isn't the passer like Harden is now. Porter Jnr however averages more assists than Harden did in his third season.

Huh? What kind of leap in logic is this? No one is talking about KPJr but u. I don’t care that KPJr averaged more assists. How is KPJr averaging more assists in his 3rd season than Harden did in his in any way relevant to Harden being able to average 10 assists with this roster? What are u talking about?

Harden never averaged 10 assists with this roster either, the roster is so much different than at the start of the season last season. Only 4 players remain from the opening night team that took the court last season. you're the one who talked about Harden averaging 10apg before he got traded, i talked about KPJ is not averaging 9apg on this team not matter what happens and i compared boths careers at the same point.

It looks like Father Time hooked a resistance parachute to Harden's back.

He can get 5-6 assists a game just off of pick and roll to Alpren or Woods.

What good is 9 assists when you turn the ball over 5 times per game?

Reminder. Curry >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Harden. Carry on jabronis.

I'm finally here to say, I am happy we moved on from James Harden. He can do whatever he wants with his career, but his best years were def in Houston.

Have we moved on? A lot posters on this thread haven’t, they’re still bitter.
