I hate to say it, but Silas should be relieved of his job duties tonight.

 

Just checking in to see if the Rockets have won another game yet.....nope....

Yeah you would have to be a total unathletic person and never actually played the game of basketball in order to not understand that coaches matter. But one thing ive learned on this board is no matter how much sense you make people like HP3 and Stephen A will act like you dont know what you're talking about. It doesnt take a genius to see how every team runs differently even with the same players under different coaches. Another coach would have a totally different lineup than SIlas. Hell most other coaches would especially the good ones.

 

only early in the season and the Warriors had a home heavy schedule to start with. Don't read too much in to it just yet. Played mostly bad teams. 4-2 vs teams over .500, 7-0 against teams under. Lets see where they are at the end of the season. First month always makes fans go crazy. Also on Pop, they have never gone in to full rebuild mode on him. He had the big three around for a long time. 8-game losing streak is his highest i think

 

At least when Harden had 6+ TO games, they came with 10+ assists most of the time.

Watching KPJ run point or Danuel House do anything ever makes me glad I'm not actually watching the game.

Shame DownToBuck retired, I'd be all over this team with his descriptions.

 

I would gladly watch the third stringers play. Can’t stand the starters. Too many me-first players with their own agenda, and they don’t care to play a lick of defense.

 

He'd look pretty similar. Look at KAT, he's still an amazing player despite how is org has been trash. Green will be the player he's meant to.

That team had a rookie Kemba Walker on it tho, I guess not all is lost with Green lmao.

 

I can't stand Nice Guy Steve and want him out of here ASAP, but the assistants behind him certainly don't give me any confidence that they would be able to turn this absolute dumpster fire of a roster into a competitive team.

We're likely going to have to ride out the rest of the season and hope for improvement from the young lads in spite of the incompetent coaching, then clean house in the offseason and start again with an entirely new staff next year.

 

the players are incentivized to play hard and with tenacity because they’re trying to secure their place in the league…meanwhile, teams aren’t taking the atrocious tanking team seriously towards the end of the season so it looks like they’re competing

when the opposing team was actually bothering to try, it was 20 straight L’s by 18 ppg and winning 3 out of 32 games at 1 point

end of last year was typical bad team fluke play and teams just showing up to play the Rockets because they know they only need minimal effort to win…that’s how you’ll see the Bucks allowing 1 of the worst offensive teams to drop 140 and someone like KPJr to drop 50

Please for the love of God sit KPJ next game . Let gordon and DJ and tate and green and sengun and wood have more of a chance to be the initiators.

You think this team is getting 20 wins this year? They are on pace to be the worst team ever in Franchise history my dude. 29 wins, forget it. Playing like this they'd be lucky to win 12 games.

They got smacked around by Detroit in the middle of a 10 game losing streak...Detroit is just as bad but still somehow made us look worse.

None of these are good reasons.

Losing on purpose is something the GM does, not the coach or players. If any of the coaches or players are partaking in tanking they need to go.

Trade Theis? That would be stupid. They just signed him? They signed a guy to a 3 year contract only to trade him? I hope that's not the case or Stone is going to make this franchise a laughing stock.

The simplest explanation is often the reason. That explanation is Silas is either stubborn and determined to make it work or he's just clueless.

You think even a tanking team would lose this many games in a row? I'm not sure how that is even beneficial to the team. Doesn't even matter, the top 3 (bad) teams have the same odds at getting the top pick.
