horrible teams and horrible players can look decent towards the end of the year because most of the league is in full tank mode or resting guys/chilling prepping for the playoffs…that’s not unusual

this garbage team will likely do the same towards the end of the year

I hate to agree with someone who is a fan of a convicted pedophile, but I mostly agree with this. Though I do think it would be a shame to bench Tate, who, in my opinion, has been one of the very few bright spots on this team.

If I took over as GM tomorrow, the only two guys I know for certain I want to be a part of my future is Jae'Sean Tate and Alperen Sengun. I wouldn't be looking to move KPJ, KJ Martin, Green, Christopher or Garuba until I had a whole lot more time to evaluate them - but none of them have proven anything yet. Christian Wood is a maybe, but I'm not sure I'd keep him simply because I think he forfeits all of his advantages as a player by playing the PF spot. If you can't play him at center I don't know if it's worth keeping him. And if you think Sengun is the future of the center position, then maybe it's worth looking at what you can get for him.

Wall, House, Gordon, Nwaba, Theis, and Augustin could all be on the block. Not that I think anybody wants any of them outside of maybe Gordon.

They are 4-9 with less talented players and before you say that's not good enough look at their advanced stats, they are competing every night.

If we're tanking then this is terrible. Let's destroy the confidence of our #2 pick to the point where maybe he starts doubting if he can play at this level.

You're saying guys are selfish and that the coach can't do anything about that. That's just wrong. He can tell those players to sit their *** down until they want to be part of the team. Not just stand there and let it happen. This includes Green too. Silas can throw his weight around. He's the head coach, the boss, and it'll be good if he reminds the players of that.

 

You talk in generalities but did you watch the games? We played a lot of playoff teams down the stretch last year and played well. That's really the end of the story unless you have any specific evidence to the contrary.

Dudes weren't putting up 20+ turnover games every night and giving up. That team was overachieving and this team is underachieving and Silas gets the credit/blame for both.

Just saying it's a curious thing.

This schedule is just ripping us apart at the start of the season. Two games we have been favourite for 1 win. We were competitive early, but the last few games have been very mixed and once the realisation that the losing is going to be continuos, players start to look for their own more than play as a team. A stripped back roster like this, never has a chance, no matter how hard you play. You can get blown out by 40 and still play as hard as you can

 

We are going to have to trade Wood. The top playes in next years draft are all bigs. Keeping Wood would be kind of stupid. Nothin personal against him but we should trade him and Gordon for a young pg and start Sengun.

 

These players have no phucking pride either.
