A VERY nice consolation prize if we fall to #3 and are out of the Holmgren/Banchero sweepstakes.

    Freshman (F)
    6'10
    220 lbs
7'0 wingspan (as of Feb 2020) - should be longer now

    Latest game:
    - 23 pts
    - 10 reb
    - 2 ast
    - 4 stl
    - 2 blk
    - 3/5 3pt

He's listed at PF, but it looks like he can play on the wing. His ability to rebound and go coast to coast is awesome. The handles, mobility, and shooting really stuck out to me. Looks more like a smooth, functional athlete than an explosive one, but that doesn't really worry me.

He looked really good here, but I want to see him against a tougher frontcourt. His game is built around his handles and shooting, but he'll have to hold his own in the paint. Top 5 pick probably, might even challenge for top 2?

The kid has NBA bloodlines. His pops played NBA ball from 2000-2005 and he's cousins with Kwame Brown.

Disappeared in the first half, but showed up late in a big way. Now for double overtime.

This is actually a great game, will it go triple overtime?

    Maybe not

He did show up in a big way.

Had only like 5 pts in first half.

Finished with 22 and 12/12 FTs (wow wow wow wow!)

    6 Reb
    3 AST
    2 STL
    2/6 3pt

Would absolutely love him at 3-5 if we don’t get 1-2.

14 pts today against Loyola (IL)

    7/9 shooting

    Efficiency is nuts

As we have seen from Lebron, KD, Kawhi, Giannis, Luka, Tatum etc the era of big men and guards are done, its now the era of the forwards.

Rox already made a mistake passing on Barnes for Green, they should only be choosing between Banchero or this kid.

Personally I'm starting to lean more on Jabari Smith Jr than Banchero, you like to see the handles, shooting and aggression cuz that basically ensures he will be a productive player in the NBA.

As I said, I was surprised that almost no one mentioned Jabari Smith as a possible Rockets pick.
While he has holes in his game, he is a far superior shooter than Banchero and has a better NBA-ready body than Chet.
I'm not ruling out neither Bancheto nor Chet, I simply said that Jabari is an intriguing selection.

Nobody is mentioning because Banchero and Chrt are the front runners. We will have to see what happens near the draft.

It would give Sengun somebody to talk to while on the bench. I say do it!
