I think she's been fine so far as we can see from the peanut gallery. All the controversy has just been superficial PR bs that a paper could spin any way it wants, not mistakes in real governance work (if she has done any). I think her tenure so far has been neutral.
I voted for Biden/ Harris and there nothing appealing about her. Seems more concerned about her career than ideals for the country. At least with Hillary, it seemed like she cared. I do not get that sense from Kamala.

Chappelle told a story of how he first met Obama and it all started with his visit to SF where he randomly met Harris and then Mayor "looks like Bruce Wayne" Newsom. This was when Hillary still looked like a lock for votes and establishment clout, so plenty of unpaid favors. Wouldn't be surprised if O started going on the trail a few weeks in '24

Important to probably go right to the source (CNN) and make sure this important part is called out: CNN is openly admitting they are using a donor as a source. We also all know that Kamala's campaign donors were alot of the old hat party Clinton donors. People that hire old party guys like James Carville to devise their political strategy. This part here is also REALLY important: It's just proof right there that the party really is going the way of Progressive politics instead of by the way of the mega donor Bill Clinton era old hats. (I say Bill Clinton instead of Hillary as an important distinction... I think Hillary gets it more than most give her credit for). Many here will think I'm a Kamala Only Fan based on me sticking up for her when she's targeted unnecessarily (see my previous correspondence with SpaceGhost who doesn't really know why and doesn't follow her, but just doesn't like her because....). However I am realistic that Harris being treated as the Heir Apparent by the Clinton donors is a huge red flag to her not being the Heir Apparent. But yes it's obvious that she's not seen enough by the American people, and that's a PR problem. Her aides also leaking that to CNN is not a real cause for drama. But it's obvious that it's more likely primarily sourced from people outside of the White House who are trying to stick their nose in the government because they need to still feel relevant in their million dollar homes in Marthas Vinyard. I trust the judgement of people like Ron Klain more than I trust theirs.
Exactly. And W was never promoting Cheney as his replacement, and Obama never promoted Biden as his replacement. Biden didn't even run in 2016 because it wasn't expected that the VP was the heir apparent. The VP choice usually comes down to an election strategy. Trump needed the bible thumpers so he enlisted Pence. Biden needed to show he was with it when it comes to diversity and appeal to a younger voter. She also came out looking tough from her Judiciary hearings which I think really helped her sell the role of an anti-Trump enforcer. That whole persona (and her strength IMO) has been kind of neutered when she's playing more of an ambassador type of role with our allies. On the OP posting the NY Post version of the article instead of the source CNN.... well that just tells you all you need to know about where he gets his information, and how Independent he claims to be.
Curious, lets say the race is trump vs Harris, would you vote for Harris? How about ted cruz versus Harris? desantis versus Harris? A wild card... let say it is nikki haley (many believe she is only interested in her career, and using Astrodome's "affirmative action" candidate) versus Harris?

Kamala Harris has one of the least publicized and popular jobs in America... Vice President. The VP is rarely covered in the press, usually provided menial tasks (attending state funerals, standing in for the President, and occasionally given an important but unpopular task (eg. war on drugs). In this case, Harris has had little to do, and during her first publicized foreign affairs trip the opposing media (fox) lies about her faking a French accent since she pronounced the word "the" as "theee" instead of "tha", never mind Harris speaks French from living in Canada and attending a French-speaking school.
I would vote for the Ghost of Saddam Hussein over Trump. With Nikki, I would have to actually think about the decision. Not a fan of either. If Nikki didn't pretty much blow Trump, I would probably have voted for Nikki to my very liberal wife's chagrin.

since then, much has been known about his cons / fraudulent schemes back in 2016, there was no evidence of his tax frauds and no investigation by NY's AG nor indictment. no we do have evidence and AG investigation, and an indictment against the co CFO potential finger-pointing at Trump's involvement by Trump co's controller, Calamari, the son of Trump's former body guard and COO Ivanka, whom, the Trump co has been treating (tax reporting-wise) as both an employee and a consultant
I agree he will run. Heck, he is already running. Where I may not agree... I am not sure he loses in the primaries. First, the other candidates... desantis, cruz, haley. They're trump sycophants. Why would republicans choose a trump wannabe over trump himself? Second, just drive around... do you see desantis sign? No... do you see trump signs? Yes, all over the place. And trump flags. trump t-shirts. Heck, every Saturday their is a booth set up under a tend on 1488 selling trump signs and flags. So even if you don't believe the polls showing trump with a huge lead on other republicans... the other indicators are there.
