Really? Then why are you responding to it? Sorry but I don't buy it but you know what, I really don't care. This place has helped me learn more about new music than any other place I have seen on the Internet. If I can help just one other poster discover new music then this thread was worth it to me. Sorry you have such a problem with it. But then again, according to you, you pay no attention to it. But you love to point out (as you have done another time) all the times that I post in it. So you are contradicting yourself but I would expect nothing less. If you really don't want to pay attention to it, you can place it on ignore or better yet, put me on ignore. Well you know what they say about trying to have a rational conversation with a village idiot. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Nik Turner - Xitintoday Melodic Energy Commission - Migration of the Snails These are 2 new albums I got recently as I was looking for some more progressive space rock. The Turner album is pretty good (he was the flute player in Hawkwind) and it has all kinds of great guests like Steve Hillage, Mike Howlett, Tim Blake, Miquette Giraudy (so pretty much all of Gong except for Daevid Allen and Gilli Smyth) and some other interesting players like Harry Williamson, Morris Pert, and Alan Powell. It was pretty good. The other is an obscure band from Vancouver that has some space rock but also some experimental and avant-garde tendencies that are similar to Cluster and the Residents. It was okay but I expected better. Maybe it will grow on me.
