Also, you can be a bad team and turn it over a lot, but these turnovers are bad on a different level. Both KPJ and Green give very little effort in any other facet of the game other than their isolations. Some of these passes they make....a decent high school player wouldn't make. It speaks to an overall lack of accountability within the organization.

Some of the offensive sequences we saw tonight should have lead to the immediate benching of KPJ, Green, and House. I'm serious. The fact that they not only were allowed to continue, but kept making the same horrendous mistakes, it is shameful. I don't care if you are tanking, those guys are not playing NBA basketball.

There are guys on this team who consistently do. Play them!!!!!!!!! These coaches should be ashamed.

Best comment from reddit on coaching.

"Don't bother, nobody here knows dick about coaching. Any coaching discourse here will invariably center around "bad rotations," "not enough ball movement / too much iso," or "no adjustments." Half of these ****ing idiots can't even comprehend the concepts of sample size and sustainability and the other half think that more post-ups and midrange shots are a good idea."

I'd love to see what credentials this redditor is putting behind that comment. Sure most discourse is going to be on either extremes and is based how the team performed in their last game but let's not kid ourselves that this coaching staff--specifically the head coach--knows what he wants out of this team.

Either there is no plan or there is a plan but it is just being executed so poorly that none of us can even discern whether or not there is a plan.

That's on the coaching staff either way

complain all you want about coaching. Tilly is too cheap to fire Silas and pay another head coach. Silas will be here until his contract is over. He might be replaced then, but not a day sooner.

It’s enabling, I thought this was supposed to be a culture reset.

Exactly. It's one thing to have a bona fide superstar who creates a questionable culture, but Harden is gone. It feels like these guys just get to do whatever the hell they want out there. They have superstar leeway when they shouldn't have any leeway at all. That's on the coaching staff. Unless Tilman is forcing Silas to treat Green and KPJ this way, which I doubt.

Kid gloves, my man. When you’re in your 3rd year playing in the NBA and have proven literally jack **** you get the kid gloves treatment from this organization. At least that’s what John Lucas is apparently okay with doing.

Yeah, I don't know why these coaches take that approach. It's the anti-developmental approach. Like you said, let's take guys who haven't proven jack. ****, and give them all the power. Brilliant.

Bro, you know I respect yours and @D-rock 's opinion. But like....do we really know whats going on? Maybe he does or maybe he sucks, we have no idea. Yea I know our guys are playing not good right now and Sengum needs more minutes. But...we dont know what the inside issues are. Maybe we are tanking? Maybe we are trying to raise the trade value of the vets. As far as play calling goes, unless someone can go in depth on what we are doing wrong play wise. There is not really much to say.

I thought Silas was the one who made the Dallas offensive system. was that a lie? or Luka was making everybody look good.

He didn't retweet it - he "liked" it. Same diff in the outcome, I guess, but I demand correctness in this pristine forum of discourse!

Kinda hard to tell this early, but the Mavs seem to be beating scrub teams and losing to good ones for the most part.

I need an explanation. Why our coaches keep waving the white flag prematurely at the start of the 4th quarter? Its like we're running a JV team of 3 separate teams/lineups played every game. While the other team still has HOF CP3 playing and doing nutmeg dribbles vs bench players.

Our coaches are quitters, and its alarmingly instilling a LOSER culture for our franchise and the young players. The fans deserve better than this BS.
