Yeah. 100% convinced this is a coaching thing. EVERYONE looks bad outside of ONE player, Sengun, and give it time and he might start reverting to the bad habits the rest of the team has. A good coach brings out the best in their players. I have no issue losing and getting outplayed but that's not what is happening here. We're beating ourselves and don't even have a shot to win any games because we are already bad. I dont' believe in firing a coach during the season so hopefully Silas has an epiphany...I won't bet on it though.
You know that Eric Gordon Fun-o-Meter? It’s at 0 right now. No fun at all. The young guys will get better, and that’s a fact. BUT…House is still in the rotation, despite his best efforts to leave the NBA. Is this some sort of sick joke? What is our coaching staff smoking?
I don't blame the refs for the Rockets woes, if that's how it came off I apologize. I'm just annoyed at how the game is officiated in general. Also I don't like Chris Paul.
Clearly, not the only reason they're winning. That being said, Mobley is looking like an unicorn and JG is looking like a scrub. Still too early to tell, but the stuff Mobley is doing is DPOY stuff, things that can hold over time. Everything else has room for improvement and even his offense is looking good. We hope JG turns out to be a star but Mobley is flashing super star potential already.
I'm not suggesting that. I'm answering this question: To everyone that thinks Jalen is just awful and Mobley is the greatest player ever - how do you guys explain the Summer League performances? I answered it pretty clearly but you wanted to turn it into me saying Mobley is the only reason they're winning.
I don't remember much from watching the Rockets team from the 82-83 season, but I'm not sure it could've been worse than this. What makes this team worse is that that team actually had nobody expected to do well to pin hopes on other than maybe Terry Teagle? Watching this team is kind of like watching the Globetrotters play the Washington Generals sometimes. But they're my team, dammit! GO ROCKETS! lol
What's the infatuation with giving Garuba minutes? I'm not sure what people see in him at this point. He's really suffering from not playing in the G-League.
Green is playing bad. Okay but bigger problem is that his brain is not working. He couldn't even do the cut that Sengun showed with his hand. I wonder what kind of basketball training this kid got. That's why most Europeans like Doncic, Sabonis, Jokic make a difference in the NBA because they know basketball very well. NBA is very superior in terms of athletics, but most of the players have mental problems.
It looks like the players are giving up. This game feels like the tipping point for a lot of our guys. Anyone else get that feeling?
