So you’re suggesting the only reason they’re winning is Mobley? Grass is always greener on the other side i guess
That was one of the rougher Rockets games I have ever witnessed, which says a lot with the spread to pick from the last two years.
Cleveland has a structure and the players know their roles. I guarantee JB used training camp and pre-season to install that structure rather than just rolling the ball out there and letting the boys build chemistry, like our Nice Guy Steve did.
This isn't working. It's not just that we're losing, but there's no "development" going on when you keep playing old veteran's and non-developing mid career guys big minutes. House should not see the court anymore. Time to promote KJ to the starting lineup and bring Theis off the bench. I'm also open to Wood coming off the bench and moving Sengun to the starting lineup. Wood has no chemistry with KPJ and Green, and all they do is take turns with iso plays. We need someone who can move the ball and initiate offense. So to me, you experiment with a starting lineup of: KPJ, Green, KJ, Sengun, and Tate. Off the bench, you bring in Gordon, Wood, Christopher, Garuba. Nwaba gets in when there's mins, as does Brooks. After the trade deadline when you've moved Gordon, Brooks fills into that role. At the trade deadline, you'd have to think anyone is open and available for a trade.
Maybe it was like a Raiders pick back in the day, where you just choose a guy who can run fast and jump high.
