This is one of those games that if someone in sat down next to you and said, "Hey, what's this interesting sport on tv?" and you had to explain what a foul was you'd look like an absolute imbecile. Well you see, it's any contact that gives one player an advantage. No not that. Well he's a veteran. Well he's a superstar. Yes that's a foul. OH that's a technical foul! Honestly, it's why the NBA is unapproachable to many. Anyways. God bless Tilman Fertitta for being a cheapskate and making Chris Paul someone I can root against again. I can't stand the guy. I don't respect the talent. He is the worst and every game he's in falls into ruin because he's demanding blood from a stone from the refs. He did it in LA. He did it here. He did it in OKC. He's doing it now in Phoenix. The sport will be better the day he retires. Javale McGee hurricane elbows Tate, then gives the refs the big "what I do?" act. And it's the same level of foul as Porter gently caressing Jae Crowder's face, a known flopper who does everything but cry out YARRR MATEY. I swear, I'd T up any of these hulking behemoths who fell over because of incidental contact or gave me the business for correctly assessing an obvious foul. I can't believe I'm defending the referees.
This starting 5 is just not good. For some reason they are just completely inept offensively as a unit. Once the substitutions start, the team usually looks ok, but this group just has no chemistry.
