Chad Ford, one of the best in the business @ breaking down young talent.

    Here are some highlights:

    - 2021 draft class maybe be historically awesome. 2022 is good but not that good.

    - Banchero was super impressive. Plays like guard. Smart defense. Looks every bit the part of a #1 especially considering he was playing against UK. Only issue is 3 pt shot otherwise he can score at all levels.

    - Holmgren didn't play agaisnt good competition like Banchero but his #s were just insane, regardless. He is a unicorn. Of course he's skinny. Reminds Ford of a young KG.

    - To the ppl who think Holmgren can't hold up against a player like Banchero, they matched up against each other in HS/AAU tournaments and Chet played just as well if not better. MVP went to Homgren in Iverson tourney.

    - Holmgren and Jalen Duren are better athletes than Banchero.

    - Evan Mobley looks like a superstar. Holmgren is a very good comparison to him.

    - Jabari Smith Jr may be this year's Barnes in that he flies under the radar and doesn't have numbers which pop off at you.

Drafting Chet is the only way we recover from missing on Mobley. He’s not as good as Mobley but has a lot of similar basketball instincts at least.

Banchero has no instincts and plays like a bigger Brandon Ingram. Duren just seems like Montrezl 2.0 and Hardy is redundant with KP and JG.

It's interesting he compares Chet to a young Kevin Garnett body wise.

It's been awhile so I checked and HS Garnett was 6-11 215 lbs as a rookie, Chet is 7ft 195 I believe, so KG had twenty pounds on him.

He also gets Durant comparisons who was 204 lbs out of high school.

We'll see how Chet does as the College season progress as well as Banchero and others.

Nook was saying he’s closer to 200/205 now.
The KG comps are apt imo, long, lanky, athletic big man with elite defensive ability and guard like handles and ability. And they both have some dog in them, tough minded and don’t back down.

The funny thing about that is If Montrezl Harrell was 6’11 like Duren he’d be a perennial Allstar easily.
