You are not reading the words correctly, its ok it happens to everyone.

What he is saying is that the Rockets think it is more important to get KPJ developed over Green right now not that they value KPJ's development over Green's.

He even stated why in a podcast that he believes they can get Green going at any point and isn't going to be as hard of a project as KPJ's is. Stating that KPJ being a point guard effects how everyone plays and how the offense is ran and therefor more important.

Has nothing to do with who's development they value more, just whos development they want to progress.

    Here is the podcast

Not about developing body although it could help him. Iverson was 6 ft 165 or so but played bigger than he was. It’s about absorbing contact and knowing how to use your body to draw fouls etc. green exposes the ball a lot and goes straight up trying to finesse layups and drives instead of taking into the chest of these defenders.

6 foot 165 is "bigger" in some ways than 6'6 185. Jalen Green is skinny as hell and he needs to get a lot stronger since he's not a good shooter and he's not a good ball handler.

Give him a few years to put on 20 pounds or so of muscle and he'll be better even if he never learns how to shoot and still has a borderline terrible handle.

Learning how to play defense is also something that would be good if he'd so somewhere along the way too.

Point is, he has to develop his body and get better at basically everything. That's going to take several years. We took a flier on a raw athletic prospect, so we'll have to wait a while before he's going to be any good at all.

We have had multiple articles now from Iko about Green and Kpj.

Where’s the article about how they plan to develop our best rookie with the highest ceiling who is getting buried on the freaking bench??

Could you imagine if we drafted Mobley and they said the same thing? Yeah me neither.

Porter is my guy but what you say is so true. He needs to first learn how to make a standard balanced pass. Set a proper screen , box out and hit his free throws etc etc.... He has the talent but he needs to be pushed by someone like Tim Grover mixed with some John Lucas

The 30th pick player has top priority to develop while our 2nd/16th/23th/24th pick players only has low priority or has no playing time?

The 30th pick player must be great like Kawaii Leonard, but I have heard his trade value only worth a 2nd round pick.

    Something is not right here.

I wonder if Silas can develop KPJ’s basketball IQ or not with his big smile.

I think too much is being made about this. Green needs this season to acclimate to the NBA, improve his body and tighten up his game. All of that can be done while putting the ball in KPJ's hands. It might depress Greens stats but I don't think it will impact his development.
