I saw it but tbh it may be a little more oriented towards kids so I didn’t post. I’m hyped though!

it's the same people that made the original that are making it. it's a continuation of the old series.

one thing im worried about this series: marvel is over saturated at this point, the novelty of seeing an animated version might not be as hype as it once was. We pretty much know what has happened in those comics from the 80's I hope they dip into the newer comics.

the comics are pretty much unrecognizable. Movies still adapting stuff from decades ago.

It’s insane that they’re actually continuing a 30 year old series, with many of the same voice actors (minus Norm Spencer aka Cyclops, RIP).

    25 years

It's not the longest though. Mysterious Cities of Gold was 30 years in between seasons 1 and 2

I know I’m in the minority but I honestly thought the original series was garbage. Beggars can’t be choosers so I watched it, but the art and animation was so cheap that it was a huge turnoff for me.

I’m glad for the fans that there’s a continuation and I will watch it too. Since it’s Disney it will probably be better on the quality side.

Retroactively yes. Compared to everything else from it's era or prior X-men was a masterpiece. Cartoons didn't even try serialized drama back then.

The tandem of X-Men and Batman were basically ground zero for all the popularity comics enjoy now.

If you only watch the first 5-7 eps of the series, you won’t like the series. The show grows on you the more you watch, just like Beast Wars.

The arcade game based on the cartoon was stupid fun too. Nightcrawler FTW.

eta: I think I need Xero and Ziggy to arcade-out my future game room. I'll handle the non-digital stuff.

4 player Gauntlet tabletop, X-Men/persons, and...?
