cp3 was always better than westbrick harden looks to be getting used to the new rules.. had a great game againist a strong raptors defense
it’s crazy how washed, lost a step, can’t get to the line, overweight and built like an auntie James Harden is still 19, 7, and 9 on 57% TS and a 108 offensive rating no one on the Rockets could generate that washed statline or even come close atm
How is Harden waddling down the court looking like he has high blood pressure and snacks hidden under his jersey, but still so much better than anyone on the Rockets?
Prime James would be dropping 30+ easy. But The Rockets are just a bad team with a bad coach at the moment and it ain’t changing no time soon.
Harden could be dropping 30 if he was willing to shoot himself into shape. However, he knows he has a bunch of offensive studs on this team including the best scorer on the generation and he is the defacto point guard of his team. Make no mistake, he would be averaging over 30 if he were still on the rockets. I'm guessing his stat line by the end of the season will be in the 23 points 8 rebounds and 10 assist range.
That's how it is. Harden could play with one hand tied behind his back and still be better than anyone on the Rockets.
I have high blood pressure and snacks hidden under my shirt and can still beat most teenagers in a pick up game. Because most kids are stupidly players. But a lot of them will grow up. I am still hopeful that the kids on our team will grow up soon... before the FO gives up on them. That said, before the season started a lot of CFers assumed that KPJ would be our "star" PG of the future because he scored 50 points in one game. ONE GAME! I told people to curb their expectations on KPJ. The guy has talent no doubt. But he doesn't look like he has high BBIQ. That's not a good sign for a PG who has the responsibility of controlling the offense.
Does anyone really look at these possesions by Caruso and think "yea he really locked him up" THE DUDE(Harden) DID NOT DO ANYTHING. The man just stops playing basketball for whole halfs/3 quarters. He literally only tries in like 1 quarter of every game now.
it can also be the intimidation factor....i use to miss layups sometimes just because the really tall guy is under the basket and i fail to even take my best shot, it really looks like i am not good at shooting layups just cause i am trying (in my mind) to account for that guy just being there
Never thought I'd see the day when @HP3 would become a Harden hater and call out people for making excuses....
