Green's taken 70 3s, making 20. What's interesting is that, according to NBA.com data, he's attempted 50 of those 70 3s from 25 ft and beyond. Of those 50 attempts, he's only hit 16 of those for 32%. Ironically, he's attempted 20 3pointers closer than 25 ft and has only hit 4 of them.
I love the flashes he shows. Will take some time to be more consistent. Yes Mobley, Barnes and Giddey are more consistent right now. That’s ok. Can’t write him off this early. Would definitely like to see growth throughout the season

I personally don't have an issue with Green taking 3's (or really any other Rockets, since Russ is here no more ). Especially if they're good looks. That said it's a no brainer that everyone hope his efficiency can improve. As much as the board clowns on Theis shooting his 3. (which sometimes I'm guilty of thinking, but not posted ). Theis is more efficient at 3 than Green right now. Theis at 35% (slightly below league avg) Green at 29%.
are we talking andrew wiggins territory here? do you know how pathetic this sounds? tsk tsk tsk a loser talk...
I don't mind it either but man...he's taken a lot of inefficient (e.g. 27, 28, 29 foot varieties) 3s.
And as far as moves in the bag. Tate is spin move daddy ( @ThatBoyNick ) Wood is euro step mommy Sengun is pump-fake, brother. So if he needs pointers, he has teammates to practice with.
He really is spin daddy. He had some spin moves last year, but this years he’s upped it to a whole nother level, mans is spinning so much that he’s been spinning on wide open straight line drives to the rim. Here’s an example of Tate’s signatures move in the last game against the Warriors Spoiler
Truthfully this is what was to be expected. Rome wasn't built in a day and I think too much of our fanbase still has a love/hate relationship with Harden and team expectations. All sounds like an up and coming star that will really shine in year 3. Anyone who thought this team was going to be put together and things just work doesn't watch basketball. Scoot still has to develop as well as all of those other rookies and 2nd year guys. You see strides in Tate and others and they are going to be sloooow. This is a playoff team by year 3 or 4 if we just keep adding through the draft. Utah was keeping their team together like we should have done and waiting for these off seasons where things fell apart for other teams. Injuries prevented them from capitalizing. If the Harden/CP3 team had stayed together we would have broke through. Learn that lesson and let this team develop. Its ugly now but you have to enjoy the optimism of what can be right now not the wins. Its one thing to say that last year and then another to live it during the season and that is where all of this sky is falling BS originates.
