To be fair. 'expert nba personnel' guys claimed Jalen a franchise altering player. I wouldn't be too surprised if many on Clutchfans know more than them.

My concern is that talkers talk and doers do….Jordan, Kobe, and others didn’t do a lot of talking until they proved it on the court. In life, those that embellish their greatness to all that will listen are usually not the ones who work the hardest at their craft.

KPJ is playing very well, especially on defense. It would be stupid to bench him. The more playing time he gets the better chemistry he will develop with the starters and the turnovers will go down. Green I think would grow better off the bench. I wouldn’t mind seeing KMJ take some of his minutes and start. Not writing off Green, but he has to put on some muscle and work on defense which is atrocious.

well this is how it should be, RS winning is underrated but RS makes or breaks the fans lives cause RS is everyday... playoffs come only once in a while...i can easily get over unsuccessful playoffs because i comes once in a year... but i need something to be happy and excited about every day...and RS is every day...

Putting up roleplayer stats on starter minutes is not playing well. KP is playing awful.

It’s been a tough schedule to start this season. Our young players will look a lot better when the schedule eases up a bit, I think.

I liked how people labelled him a franchise altering player after... wait for it.... zero games.

I remember a few weeks ago when there were CFers thinking we'd make a push for the play-in games. Gave me a good laugh then, and still does now.

He didn't play "awful" last night though. He had a solid game.

Also, what are you expecting from him? 11 and 7 in 27 minutes is pretty good for a young guard in their first season as a starter.

Being on a hot streak for the past few games =/= second best player. Maybe he will eventually be the second best player (McCollum to Steph's Lillard, for example) but it's premature to anoint him as such, right now.

Also, saying your conclusions are from watching play instead of box scores, and then using stats from box scores to try to somehow further your argument, is hilarious.

Look you want to be salty that's fine but the reality is we can't lock in a young players future one way or the other yet. Just because you saw ppl on the board jumping the gun doesn't mean you and others have to go on a crusade against Green when we all know how rookie guards fair early on. Not saying he hasn't struggled because he has but he has also shown flashes. Anyone who thought he would come in and dominate because of playing in the G league were setting themselves up for disappointment. Obviously you can do what you want but I think being patient with a rookie guard that is asked to create his own offense 90% of the time is wise.

I do not think Porter is part of the rebuild, and this hurt our rebuilding process. I thought he could become a STAR and he is not. There are many people on this board give him too much cushion. The guy has REGRESS from last year. Many people said, "He scored 16 points a game last year but when Wall is not around his game is going to explode and he will be much better." Points and assist are below from last year and he leads the LEAGUE in turnovers. This is horrible. He is a Small Forward not a Point Guard and Silas needs to change this, Honestly, if Porter cannot play next game i'm very comfortable having Josh Christopher starting at Point Guard. He has size, control the ball and play good defense.

The entire point of the conversation is why are they 8-1. Behind Steph its Jordan Poole. He's filling in a Klay role. Its not Draymond and WIggins neither are second lol
