2021 College Football Thread

[whispers] the acc and pac12 are not good at football

 

I know Oregon's loss to Stanford was bad, but I don't understand ranking Ohio State above them. Ohio State lost to Oregon! That was probably the best road win of any team in the country so far and Oregon is going to be denied a playoff shot over Ohio State? It's ridiculous.

 

Now *that* was a fun game

 

I can still hear the "aaaahhhhhh....fuuuuuck" from the sportsbook patrons

 

What even is the ACC at this point?

 

Surprised to see people (yall included) that think Cincinnati REALLY deserves to be in a playoff. C'mon. Who cares what your record is if you're not good. I don't need to see them play a good team in a playoff setting to know they're not good. C'monnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

 

You just very well articulated my least favorite thing about college football.

 

I don't need Cin vs Bama, to see Vegas put a 47pt spread on it. C'monnnnnnnnnnnnnn.

8 or even a 6-team playoff - and I'd be fine.

 

It's figure skating. It doesn't matter if you win or lose...someone doesn't think you're as good, so you're done even though you haven't lost a game. That is my least favorite thing about college football, and it's getting worse, seemingly.

 

Gotta make sure they're in prime position for the Gary Patterson run.
