So, I hope this isn't a huge image, which it probably is, but these were seen across the street from my house, on a clear night. This was last night at 11pm. They were pulsating red and green. They stayed stationary for at least thirty minutes and then started to move vertically, very slowly, but keeping their orientation.

On the picture, there are stars and these objects. The objects are more green. One is a bit yellow. There were at least twelve in the sky.

They don't seem to be starlink satellites, as those don't emit light. I'm just curious as to what they may have been. Planes flew by them at least twice, and they weren't planes. The planes seemed to fly lower than them, fwiw.

Obligatory, I'm not saying it's aliens....

I got a very creepy vibe from them when I was outside looking. Maybe the first time in my life I felt the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. For no reason, I'm sure.

Definitely aliens. I’ve seen signs like this for over forty years. AND I’ve had visions of their future world dominance. I’m not entirely certain how they will conquer us, but I’m certain that whatever they’re doing is working.

Looks like the constellation Orion. You live in the north, right? Hasn't there been unusual Aurora activity farther south than normal? Not sure if Aurora activity could be playing havoc with how stars appear but then you did say these lights moved. @ Neil deGrasse Tyson on Twitter.

That's the best guess I've heard. Could be spot on. And we have had some aurora stuff going on further south. The blinking was extremely odd, and the lights did move slowly vertically, but this is the best guess I've heard.

Look in that area of the sky at a similar time tonight (factoring the time change) and you'll probably see the same orientation of lights but maybe not the colors. Also get the app "Sky Map". With the app, point your phone like you're taking a picture and it'll tell you what you're seeing in the sky.

Bonus Points if you know whose faceless black hand dropped on kid's shoulder about halfway through that scene.

Fire in the sky is a great movie based on the Travis Scott/Walton story

Why would you assume their calendar is the same as ours? Are you some sort of Terrestriest?

    Obviously it's Space Christmas.

The first thing I thought of when I saw the pic was the 3 stars representing Orion's belt.
