Tarik Black would have been a star if only McFail would give him starter minutes and Morley didn't give up on him so quickly.
Yes. He logged in at 40 minutes and Sengun only log in at 19 minutes. Something is wrong with our coach! Everybody is playing their rookies except us. Green will be fine this get nervous and he needs a attitude like Ja Morant....he is kinda acting passive
Apologies if already posted somewhere ... Washington Post article: It’s early, but Evan Mobley looks like a franchise player for the post-LeBron Cavaliers https://www.washingtonpost.com/spor...bley-cavaliers-franchise-player-lebron-james/
I like the quote from Silas in there about how he's not worried about Green at all. Just hope it's not a "Pancakes" kiss of death! lol
He's right--there's no need to worry about Green because Jalen will most likely be in a Rockets uniform for longer than Stephen will be on the Houston coaching bench.
Giving minutes to Wood and Gordon to trade them. Sengun will likely be playing 30 min by the end of the season so you can not wear him down now as you give the vets minutes. This season has gone 100% like I thought it would so far. It will be interesting to see how it will play out. Perhaps they won't be traded but that is looking more likely to me. By game 60 the rotation could be Green KPJ Martin Jr Sengun Theis Christopher Garuba Armoni Nwamba I would presume 3 of these 5 players will be gone with the remaining 2 remaining in the rotation. DJ Aug Wood Gordon House Tate Depending on what they would receive back for a trade for example if it were a bad contract with picks with the contract being 2 years. You could see the Rockets sign another player this offseason around Wood's or Theis' salary especially if Wood is traded.
Maybe every single one of us can become Cavs fans, we starve Tilman financially by abandoning the Rockets, Tilman sells the team for pennies on the dollar to some out of state investment group that re-locates and rebrands the team in Vegas... meanwhile, we secret Rocket fans have deeply infiltrated the Cavs fan base, we are now over 80% for both viewership rate and season ticket holders rate. We demand the team be re-located and rebranded to Houston as the new Rockets... it works! Now we have Mobley, Allen, and Rockets legend head coach JBB!!
So everybody who said he was a big man was knocking on him? Mobley has def played great, prob the 2nd best rookie so far this early into the season however the questions regarding his situation still remain ie his ability to put on weight and not get injured ala Porzingis and his ability to not get injured in general which is pretty common for a big man. We wont really see the answer to this till 5 yrs from now.
Do you not understand the difference between Big man and Center? The biggest criticism of him was him having to check centers in the post and not being able to hold up which he was never gonna asked to do. He does not have to put on any great weight to be effective just get stronger like which he will do as he naturally matures. There really is no question of him putting on weight to be effective, at least for anybody that actually knows what he will be asked to do and how the NBA is played today. You seem to not be able to grasp who he is aa a player and how the NBA is played today.
While it is super early, and still time for Green to be the better player, at the start of their careers Mobley is much more NBA ready. Sometimes as a fan, it flat out SUCKS when you are right - this might be one of those times for some of us. DD
I think that is fair, but it will be completely obvious by then......most players make the biggest jump between year 2 and 3. Mobley is beasting tonight - he clearly is more NBA ready at this moment than Green, by a long long way. Though I am sure some of that is that Rubio is really good at getting him the ball in good spots, whereas KPj, not so much...or is inconsistent. DD
